A and E (Karma x Reader)

1. The King (a.k.a. you)

(L/n) (F/n).
Throughout her life, she had been given a nickname that everyone agreed was made for her; The King. Everyone believed she was truly The King since she was someone even adults looked up to, since she was what everyone believed to be perfect. Her parents knew how smart she was and took the opportunity to enroll her in Kunugigaoka Junior High School, one of the best schools known in Japan. She agreed to study there after being allowed to live alone near the school to gain independence. This is the story of The King.

Waking up, I sleepily turned off my alarm and got up, preparing to go to my new school. Outside, I met a boy with blue hair and high pigtails. He noticed me and waved at me. "Hello, are you a new student?" he asked. "Yeah. I'm (l/n) (f/n), call me (f/n). You?" "Shiota Nagisa." He smiled. "What class are you in?" I asked, hoping I had a new friend in my class. He laughed nervously before replying quietly, "3-E." I look at him before asking, "Is 3-E bad or something?" Nagisa proceeded to explaining how our junior high school worked. I thought about what he said and decided on asking him, "Will you still be my friend?" Looking surprised yet relieved, he nodded. Reaching the school, we parted ways with me promising to go to his building and eating lunch with him.

(Quick time skip)

I stepped in front of class A and simply said, "I'm (l/n) (f/n), nice to meet you." Somewhere in the back, someone murmured "The King" and slowly, everyone started to say it. The teacher even said, "Please sit next to Asano, King." Sitting down, I sighed as my nickname once again spread throughout the school.

During break, Asano came up to me and started talking. "Ki- I mean (l/n)-san, why does everyone call you the King?" he questioned. I looked up from my doodles at him and simply answered, "Because everyone believes that I am what a King should be." He hesitated before asking, "Why are you a 'King', and not a 'Queen'?" I chuckled before answering, "Because everyone believes that I am better than a guy and decided I should be the female King." The bell rang when I finished, so he sat back down, looking slightly annoyed.

As soon as lunch started, I went straight to the mountain and started to go to Nagisa-kun's class. Halfway there, I tripped over something, or rather, someone. "Ugh..." I heard someone mumble and looked up. In front of me, I saw a pair of pretty golden orbs looking straight back at me.
"Sorry." I said while trying to get up. I was still on him when he lazily asked, "Who are you?" Trying to get off him, I mumbled out, "(l/n) (f/n). I was trying to get to class 3-E to have lunch with Nagisa-kun." He grabbed my wrist, stopping me from trying to get off, and looked me up and down. Smirking, he said, "So you're the one Nagisa-kun was talking about. (F/n)-chan is quite cute~" I looked at him and said, "You're quite cute yourself." while smiling. "Akabane Karma, but just call me Karma." He said while getting up and holding out his hand, still smirking. Taking it to get up, I smiled and simply said, "Nice to meet you Karma. Mind showing me the way?"
