-Rose's POV -

The TARDIS landed home, and the Doctor and I walked in the door, only to see an empty room, and my mum's purse off the hook it was usually on, so she must have been out shopping. The Doctor flopped down on the sofa and I went to the fridge to fix some tea.

"Fancy a tea, Doctor?"

"Yeah thanks."

I fixed the tea, and sat down next to him, and set the cup on the table. I turned the tele on, and put it on the news. We were getting a bad signal, so the Doctor decided to try and see what was wrong. He fiddled with the wires for a bit, but realized he didn't have the sonic.

"Rose have you got my sonic?"

"Yea." I got it out of of my pocket and handed it to him. He clicked it a few times and it began buzzing. A few sparks came out of the wires, and I crouched down next to him.

Out of the blue, a huge spark came out to cause me and the Doctor to fall. On top of me, but then the real trouble came. My mum walked through the door.

She had a million bags that dropped to the floor, it sounded like a few things broke.

"What the hell are you two doing?!" Her face became red with anger, and the Doctor and I stood up quickly to avoid awkwardness. Mum walked over and slapped the Doctor right in the face. His cheek was red, so I stopped my mum from going any further.

"Mum! It's not what it looks like I swear!"

"Yeah sure! You two are on top of each other! Glad I stopped you from going any further!" My mom retorted.

"Jackie I promise! I would never do anything like that!" the Doctor's face flushed with embarrassment. "We were trying to fix the tele..." He hesitated, so I finished for him.

"We got scared mum, there was a big spark so we ended up like... how we were..."

My mum sighed, but then straightened back up. "Okay, whatever. But I'm watching you mister," she pulled the Doctor up close and lowered her voice to a whisper. "If you even think about doing ANYTHING to my Rose, I will-"

I stopped her. "Mum! He's not going to do anything!" My voice became a bit louder, causing the Doctor to move back a pace.

Her lips snapped shut, and she let the Doctor go. "I'll be in my room, you two..." Her voice trailed off and she walked to her room.

"We better get to the TARDIS, before anything else happens." The Doctor let out a short breath, and I called out to Mum.

"I'll be back in a few!" The Doctor took my hand, smiled, and we ran off.
