Harry
I don't know why I show up to these parties. I hang out with some of my friends in the kitchen.
"Do you need a refill dude?" Liam asks gazing into my cup. I've had two cups already and I'm almost halfway done with this one. "Nah thanks I'm good."
"How's that girl that always follows you?"
"What girl? Lea?" He nods. "She doesn't always follow me. She's just at a lot of the same places I am."
"That's odd isn't it?" He laughs.
"I mean yeah but she's not that bad. She just talks a lot. " My attention is diverted when I notice Niall walk into the kitchen with some chick. It takes me a while to realize it's Lea. She looks so different tonight compared to her usual jeans and sweaters. "Is that her?" I nod my head. "Woah dude she's pretty hot.", Liam says to me as the approach us.
Lea
Right when I walk in I spot Niall.
"Hey you made it!" He goes in for a hug. "Yeah I didn't have any other plans tonight." For some reason I begin to feel nervous. He excuses himself from the group of people he was with previously. We walk over to the kitchen. There happens to be a lot of people in there.
"Are you thirsty?" I nod. "Let's get a drink in you yeah?" I see Harry leaning up against the counter. He's dressed in all black, black jeans and a black button up. His friend says something to him. I can tell they're talking about me because their eyes begin to rake up and down my body.
"Harry, you remember Lea?"
"How can I forget?" He smirks and there's sarcasm in his voice.
"What can I get you?" Harry's friend asks. "Oh I'm Liam by the way." He sticks his hand out. "Lea." I smile politely. Harry cuts in. "You don't seem like the type to come to parties like this." I don't understand why he has to give me a hard time. I've never done anything to him. Liam hands me my own drink. The first sip kinda stings the back of my throat.
"Well you don't really know me so..." I decide to give him attitude in return. I'm not really in the mood to put up with his shit. A girl joins us in the kitchen, her blonde hair swaying back and forth. She's pretty.
"Hey fellas. Are we going to stay in the kitchen for tea time or are we going to do something fun?" She catches my eye. "You must be Lea!" She goes in for a hug. What is with these people always hugging? "I'm Haley." I can't help but feel overwhelmed with her eagerness. "I heard you go to school with us. I'm surprised I've never seen you before."
"Yeah I do." Haley gazes down at my dress. "Dude you look absolutely hot in that dress!" Slightly embarrassed from her compliment I look down. "Thanks!"
"I don't think she's into girls Hales." Liam shakes his head. "Chill out. I was just complimenting the girl. You gotta admit, she looks great in the dress. Right Harry?" He replies quickly. "Yeah." Did Harry just indirectly compliment me? I never thought that would happen. I take another sip of my drink. The music is blaring loudly throughout the house. People are dancing on each other. There's a light cloud of smoke floating around.
Niall quickly tries to change the subject. "I think they're setting up for a new game of beer pong. Do you guys want to play?" Everyone nods. Haley grabs my arm. "You coming?"
"Yeah do you guys have a bathroom I can use?"
"Upstairs second door on the left." She takes a hold of my drink. "Meet us in the backyard when you're done." She smiles and walks off. I check my phone to see if Christina tried to call or text me. Nothing. I head upstairs and find the bathroom. Glancing at myself in the mirror I notice how rosy my cheeks are from the alcohol and the body heat of everyone downstairs. There's a loud knock on the door. I open it and this guy comes barging in. His hair is in a cinnamon swirl like a greaser would have it. He's wearing a black cut off shirt giving full view to his arms that are full of tattoos.
