A month later from the horrific incident, Jesse was back in the office. She was no longer wearing her face mask, but yet the scar was still visible. She noticed some of the agents looking at her and whispering to each other. She ignored it on the way to her office, but she could not rub off the way people were looking at her.
Jesse's P.O.V:
I hate the attention I am getting. I would put on the face mask back on, however, due to the policy of the agency, we can't have anything covering our faces.I kept hearing their muffled voices as I walked by. Out of the all agents they have, I got to be the only outcast. To be a good ass spy, you must blend into the crowd. For me, being so young and still look like a teenager from high school, I get the most eyes on. Their stares where making me sick for some odd reason. When I finally make to my office and close the door behind. I had unsettling urge to just leave my door open. I felt Adam's presence in my office, however, another entity was there too. I look around, if there was anyone, however, I was the only one in my office. My office was not as big, but it was size of a small studio. Flashbacks started to flow in my mind causing a unbearable and painful headache. I felt the room move around me as I tried to regained my balance.
"What in hell is wrong with me?" I said to myself. I just slide down to make myself sit on the floor. Although, I did felt silly for sitting on the floor, but my head still stop throbbing in pain. I heard someone cracking the door open, but I did not bother to look up.
"Jess!!" It was Brad. I felt his presence and recognizing his smell. He always puts the Guess cologne I got him for Christmas two years ago, which I don't know why I was able to recognize it.
"Are you okay?" He ask. I felt his hand on my cheek making sure my head was held up.
"My head really hurts." I said to him. I felt I could not stay wake. My vision became worse.
"Stay awake Jesse!" He said to me. I left he pick me up. All I remember everything went dark. I heard voices and spots of lights. I barely hear Brad's voice, like it was fading.
End of Jesse's P.O.V
Brad's P.O.V
I did not realize how bad the situation, when I entered in her office. I was scanning the office, if there was something causing Jesse become so ill. I just an open black box that was on her desk. I did not bother to get close since my priority is get Jesse to safety. I took her out of the room in a hurry. Out of the blur, the person I was able to make out as I rush out was Iris.
"Iris! I don't know what is in Jesse's office, but something is not right!" I said as I rush towards the stairs.
"Make sure no mind reader goes there! Check it out!" That was all I said to her as I rushed down the stairs.
My mind was spinning as I make it to the main floor. The adrenaline started to kick in. I made it to Dr. Max's office. I just bust the door to get in.
"Hey, what gives!?" yell out an old cranky man.
"Sorry...it just...something happen to Jesse!" I couldn't not speak full sentences for some reason.
"Just set her down and I will take a look." He said as I put her down.
End of P.O.V.
Back in upper office...
Iris evaluated Jesse's office. She had a mask and gloves for precaution.
"What is in that box?" She ask to herself looking at the opened black box on the desk. She could not recall if Brad mention any box. She approach it slowly.
"Please no bombs.." As she approach to the desk, she saw brown hair. She took a step back. She knew what is was. She pulled out her radio.
"Hey guys, tell them to lock down the building. Tell Ashley to send a message to our partnered agency. We got a poison human head." She radio in as she exit the office. She closed the door and grab a chair nearby. She placed it front of it so no one would will get near. She felt the stares behind.
"Are you sure it a body part in captain's office?" ask Ralph. Iris nodded.
"Everyone! You guys know the drilled. The building is under lock down. Please head to the conference room. This not a drill!" She yelled. Angel guide the agents to the door. The silence was loud. No one was talking. They all looked at each other with uncertainty and confusion. But everyone have two question in common that wanted to be answered. Who's sent this package in the building and why?
