Wayne Family

Who is Sam Wayne? Some will say he is just an old mind reader, very successful, and know his way around the government to keep his agency running. However, his family have a huge history when comes to the mind reader kingdom. You see, he wasn't just a typical mind reader that live in the ruins of the Underground City. No, his family to run the whole city before everything fallen apart. But first, let discuss the layout of the Underground City. 

Underground City is divided by three sections, which was are:

Angels, Devils, and Purgatory.

Angels:

On this side of town, it more the like heaven however, very restrictive. You can describe it sort of like the city of Karens. They are very conservative when comes how their city should be run, what is allows, and other tasks. This also involves restrictive traveling regulations. For example, citizens must a get permission from the ruler in order to travel out of the city. This includes the purpose of the trip, who you are visiting, etc. Mostly everyone knows each other business, because no one is allow to commit sin.

Demons:

On this side, well looking at the subtitle, it is pretty obvious. Pretty much like the bad side of town. They do have a ruler, however, the laws do change constantly such as making murder legal, drug use, and other violent crime. However, not all the parts of the city is like this. There are some who are more tame that live in the high class and the lower class, well not good environments. Some even have like governors that rule parts of this city and just report it to the ruler, if there is any issues, which obviously most issues are ignored. Not all the demons are the same.

Purgatory:

This one is the ruler of both sides. You can say there are like "Peace Maker" by making sure both parties don't cross. For example, not allowing no angels mating with demons or vise versa. They torture souls with little of good and bad. They also decide to which souls goes to which side of town. 

So, types of mind readers that listen to either their good side, bad or between. So, what how the Wayne family is involve this?

You see, the Wayne family were the governor for the parts of the Demon side and also parts of Purgatory.  Dawn Wayne, the father of Sam Wayne, was a great speaker and also a great warrior. He would negotiate different deals and also make sure each town get the part they deserves. He would also do some volunteer work, also part of the military for both sides, and also other things good high class supposed to do. He was also a family man. He had two sons. The oldest one is now ruling most parts of the Demon side, while the youngest, Sam Wayne follow his father's footsteps. 

Everything was going well for the Wayne family until war broke through between other towns. Some did not like how the Wayne family were running towns and managing them. The ruler of Purgatory had to step in, however, war broke loose. The divide between the Peace Maker and Demons made it difficult for their citizens to live in their own homes. People were getting murder, children were taken away from their families, and such more chaos. Sam wanted to save the Demon city he lived at, but after he found out someone murdered his parents and his brother did not want to get involved in this mess, he decided to leave. 

He decided to live in the Sin City known as Las Vegas. Where the mobs and gangsters rule the streets. He had to learn to blend within the human world. He learned how to gamble, enjoy a bit of the fast lane, until he fallen in love. Her name was Daisy Evergreen. She was from California and wanted to settle in. Although living in the Sin City, is not best place to settle in due to all the crimes and shit show the comes in and out. They both settle in with each other and started their lives together. Sam decided to build his agency as his wife work at office job at one of the cansinos. He had confessed to her about him being a mind reader and his past life in the Demon world, but his wife though he was a bit crazy, until their first son was born, who was named Joshua Wayne, Josh for short. Josh show his talents to his parents at the age of 4. He was able to read his parents' mind, able to relay information in a fast pace, able to read at a college level, and much more, but he also shown a dark side of him as well. He was so fascinated handling dead animals, witchcraft, and other supernatural stuff. This brought a concerned to the mother, however, she still love him. She love her son until her last breath when Josh turned 6 years old. She was poisoned by an enemy of Sam while he was a business trip.

Sam struggled raising his son and handling his spy agency. There were times he would just quit his agency and just focus on his son. When Josh turned 11, Sam remarried to Clare. Clare had a 14 year old son, named Bruce, from a previous marriage. Sam allow Bruce change his last name to his. There were times Josh would called him Batman because they both loved DC heroes. The boys did get along and found out they were both mind readers from the same town. However, later in the marriage between Sam and Clare started to break. Sam was trying find ways to help with his town the citizens in the Demon side while Clare had other plans. News break out that Purgatory decided to shut themselves and let the demon city figure out their own issues, leading citizens to flea. 

Soon the marriage broke into a divorce when Josh turned 15 and Bruce was 18. It did not affect much to the boys because they both work at spy agency with their father. Until Sam brings a young girl, which was 13 during that time, but I will save this story for another time.
