The fight rages on in front of me. Hiyou's assassins running after us while the four dragons and Hak protect Yun, Yona, and I. I'm still not very happy with the setup.

"..."

"E-Eyre... As soon as you get better, you can attack anything you'd like. For now, just wait." Yun says and I growl before turning to the boy.

"Yun~ Why can't I just shoot one bullet?" I whine and he turns to me, deadpanned.

"Because the throwback is still powerful and you can reopen your wound."

"Pffft. No. That won't happen."

"Eyre."

"... I hate you." I grumble and cross my arms. Yona giggles at the sight and Zeno whacks an assassin over the head with a board of wood.

"C'mon, what if I just stab someone with my sword. See?" I take the curved sword out of it's holster and twirl it around my finger. I'm still wearing my blue dress, but the ropes hold my two Berettas and my sword. Jea-ha asked if he could use my guns because it'd look cool, but I said no, since he might accidentally shoot himself.

"No means no, Eyre."

"Boo~ You're no fun." I pout and he looks at me with a sweat drop.

"Are you really 20?"

"Hey. You don't talk about a woman's age. Ever." I glare at the child and he holds his hands up in mock surrender.

"Are you three alright? We're almost done here." Hak says and Yona nods before pointing to me and mouthing a few words to Hak. Hak nods his head and starts slicing down the henchmen faster than ever.

"What did you say?"

"!!"

"What."

"N-nothing..."

"Finally." I breath out as we gather around a campfire. I pluck a few strings from my guitar and it creates a silent melody of the 'Campfire Song' We weren't able to get any information, but the assassins just stopped coming. It was just an hour ago that we finished the first batch, but that's when they wouldn't come at us anymore.

Hiyou must be planning something...

"Does it bother anybody else?" I ask aloud and a tense atmosphere rises. We all don't say anything, but I know we're all thinking the same thing. So we take the rest of the night to just relax a bit. I was given a curfew (much to my annoyance) so I had to go to sleep early. I wasn't even allowed to help with first watch or anything. Yona was given a curfew too, so I suppose it wasn't so bad when the two of us secretly did each other's hair and quietly complained about the rules they set up. Although Yun came in a few minutes later and told(yelled at, more like) us to sleep.

The next morning, we quickly cleaned up camp to begin walking again. Throughout the whole day, the assassins wouldn't come after us. I didn't really mind, mainly because if they did try and attack us, I wouldn't be allowed to help beat their asses. Plus, I was holding Kija's hand while we walked the whole way and there was a comfortable silence between us.

"Eyre, would you like to rest? You seem rather pale.." Kija asks in concern but I shake my head.

"No, I'm fine. I can keep going." I assure, but I wasn't very certain myself. The look wouldn't leave Kija's face, so he called out to Yun.

"Yun, is it possible if we could all stay at an inn?" He asks the 15 year old kid, and Yun pusres his lips before nodding.

"An inn wouldn't be so bad. We still have all that money Eyre and I were able to get." The terrible reminder of my make up hits me and my shoulders slump.
