Chapter 15: Save Her

[Yeori's POV]

I sat on the bench. The park is not far from the school. Why am I feeling like this? It hurts so much that I think I couldn't even breathe. "Boo!!" I jump a little and turn. "Chen!! You gave me a heart attack." He chuckled and sat beside me. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "You're seem so gloomy. Are you okay?"

Should I tell him?

"It's nothing." I smiled at him. He frowned at me. "It's about Samantha?"

"How did you-"

"Long story, short, she's Kris ex crush during high school."

Ohh, no wonder Kris is so protective with her. Does he still have a crush on her? "How did you guys know her?"

"Well, she's always go to our place or sometimes hang out. I don't really know her but Luhan knows her well. Besides, Luhan always hang out with Kris."

Well, I could see that Luhan was shocked with her appearance. "She's pretty."

"Tsk? Her? Pretty? Yah, Yeori-ah. Open your eyes. You're prettiest girl I've ever met." I blushed at him. This guy really know how to cheer me up. "It's getting late now." he said and he stood up. "Really? Wow, that's fast." I said and stood up too. "Come on, I'll drive you home."

"No, I want to walk back. I left my car in the campus."

"Are you sure? It's getting dark." he said in worried. I pinched his cheeks. "I'm fine. Don't worry. I'll text you once I've arrive at home."

"Promise me?"

"I promise you."

We both bid goodbye and I waited him to get inside his car. Well, my mind still in a mess which is why I should take a walk. It's cold. I should have brought my coat but I left it in my car. Yeah, my driver brought the car for me. It's getting dark and the street kind a creepy. Even though it's just 15 minutes by walking to the university but I feel like an hour.

Okay, where's my key? I tried to find in the purse but I couldn't find it. Great, now what? Aigoo. I should call someone to pick up the car for me. I should ask my driver to take. Yeah, that's the only way. Great Yeori, you just lost your own precious car key.

"Looking for this young lady?" I turned around and a bunch of guys were there. One of them was holding the key. "Oh, uhmm. Yeah." I was hesitate to reply to him. He chuckled and came to me. "You're so pretty." I could smell the alcohol. Urgh~ "Well, you need a payback if you get your key." he said with a husky voice and his members also laughed. "What payback?"  Now I feel uncomfortable. He smirked at me and move forward. I backforward from him and forward until I met a wall behind me. "Opps, trap." he said and laughed. I'm scared now. What should I do? He came to me and hold my hand tightly. I immediately punch him as hard as I can. I ran from them.

"What the- catch her!!" I heard someone chasing me. Please, I need to find a hiding place. But I was too late. One of them caught me and I feel down. "Gotcha princess." he smirked st me. "Let go of me!!"

"Such a fierce woman. Too bad you're ours now." He was about to ripped my shirt when someone knocked him down. I looked at the person. "Kris?" He looked at me and bend down. "Here." he gave me his coat.

Then, he punch the other guys and all of them knocked down. "You should respect towards woman." he looked so fierce and all if them ran away. "Coward." he said and turned around. I couldn't even move. He bend down and help me up. "What are you doing here in night time?" he said. "I- uhh I-"

"Shh, stop talking. Where's your car?"

"My car is still in the campus. I lost my key but one of the guy took it."

"They must already took your car. Come on, I'll send you home."

"Kris." I hold onto him. He looked at me. "Thank you." He cupped my cheek and kissed my forehead. "Pabo, you think I'll leave you?" I looked at him in confused. "Don't you look at me like that. Luhan told me that you're crying."  I could sense his guilty.

"That's-"

"No it's not okay Yeori. I've hurt you." he looked at my eyes.

Dug dug dug~

"I'm really sorry Yeori." I tried not cry. "Can we go now? It's freezing." I said. He smiled and hugged me tightly. "Let's go now."

[Kris's POV]

I know that I'm wrong. To be honest, I don't have feelings on Samantha but she's being too clingy on me. I'll explain to Yeori and I thought she fine with it but no. She's jealous for sure and I'm happy for her. At least I'm doing something good to her. She's sleeping now. Must be tired fighting with those brat guys.

I should have known that she's walking alone in the night. I shouldn't left her alone.
