--Niall--
I woke up to the eye of my son. A soft smile on his face. "Come on dad. We are seeing your friends today." I sighed slowly sitting up. Looking besides me in Harry's side of the bed before kicking my legs out of the bed waiting for Henry to bring my walking stick.
"Here you go dad. Let's get you something small to eat. Don't want you getting hungry between now and when we go" he said. He always looked after me. Before Harry passed he would look after me. He was still so full of life. Where as I was just weak and frail. I still am.
Sometimes I would get frustrated when to many people try to help me. But I like it when Henry is here. He looks so much like Harry when he was younger.
Once we was in this kitchen I sat down at the table. "What time are we going?" I asked slowly making sure I don't get out of breath easily. I hated having to take my inhalers.
Henry sat down with a small cereal bar opening it then giving it to me. "We need to leave here in an hour" he said. "So we will get you washed and dressed then we will leave" he explained. It was embarrassing having to have my son dress me every night and day. He was even thinking about moving in with his wife and son. My grandson. He's such a dear. I can't see him much though. He doesn't understand I'm not young. He's a little rough when we play with his cars or anything like that. It saddens me sometimes. I call him all the time though.
----
Once Henry had finished getting me dressed he brushed through my grey hair. Not that he needed to there was hardly anything there anyway. "You ready to go?" He asked as I sit down on the bed feeling a little tired already. I picked up Harry's blanket for the millionth time since he left.
Henry sat down next to me. "Hey dad. You can take that with you if you like. We can take your wheel chair if your tired." He spoke softly with a pained look on his face. He was suffering as well. I sighed nodding. "Okay. Let's go"
---
I got very worried when we got to the cafe. I can see the three boys already. So full of life. Where I'm so dull. And old. Fair enough they are old as well. But they are healthy. They have at least 10 more years before they pass.
I don't have long. I can feel it. Maybe that's a good thing though. I get to see my Harry again. I pulled the blanket up a little more smelling Harry's sent as Henry pushed me in the wheel chair through the door. As soon as the bell the boys heads lift their smile widening slightly.
I smiled lightly. "Hi guys" I said. They all said hi back. "How's things going Niall?" Louis asked his voice rough and scratchy. I felt like that was a stupid question really. How would he feel if his wife died. I shook my head slightly ridding my thoughts. "They've been up and down. Mostly down but I will be okay" I said smiling up at the boys.
"I've been thinking back to the old times. Back in the band" I said. I spoke for a very Long time about our memories. Especially memories with Harry. We all laughed. And we all cried. Henry loved hearing story's about before he was born. Even if he had seen all the clips on the interest of us when we was on X factor.
---
"Okay. I think it's about time that we go home now dad" Henry laughed. I smiled nodding. I haven't felt this good in a long time. "Okay okay. I will see you lads again okay" Niall said as Henry started pulling the wheel chair away. Once I had finished saying goodbye we start to head home.
"You've had a good day haven't you" Henry smiled. I looked back at him nodding."You know what son. I have. I really have.
