Danika's POV
Sunday- February 18, 2024
I was on video call with Zariah, but we barely talked. She was obviously going through something and she would only say pieces of things and then stop.
"Zariah yo sure yo alright?" I asked with a frown.
"Mi and Tray jus leff that's all." She repeated for the tenth time.
"Zariah mi know yo. You nah guh inna yo feelings cause you and smaddy son leff."
She started sniffling and I couldn't do anything else but look since we were just on call.
"Danika.." she called crying.
"Yes baby?"
"Him ... dead." My eyes widened and I now understood why she was like this.
"Oh sorry. How did you find out?" I asked.
"A man who Tray knows told me yesterday."
"He said he told all Tray's other Oman dem too."
"That's weird..." I said mostly to myself and she nodded.
"And he almost raped me." My eyes widened.
"Who the man weh tell yo seh Tray dead?" I asked pissed.
"No, Tray. I don't know what to feel or say to be honest. Tray cheated and tried to rape me and now he's dead so I can't even be mad." She sighed and wiped her tears.
"Jah jah. Mi nuh wah sound harsh but him deserve it, cause look how him wicked."
"True.."
We continued talking and she explained in details on what happened yesterday. I then told her about what happened with me Friday and we ended up laughing about our trials and tribulations.
After about a hour we hung up. Tomorrow I have school and I don't want to go but I have to go.
I haven't left my room all day and although I was hungry, I had to stand on business.
I straightened my bed and laid down right after since I had already showered. Now I was lying down forcing my self to sleep.

I turned and rolled trying not to let whatever noise that was wake me up.
Some twisting and turning later I finally decided to look for where the noise was coming from.
I opened my eyes and looked around my dark room but gave up after about a sec or two.
I jumped up again hearing my door creaking... I bolted my door so for it to be opening was weird.
I grabbed my phone and turnt my flashlight on. I moved it around to see if anyone was there but there was no one. I sighed turning my flash off.
Yo give up too easy.
Weh yo wahm mi doh? Get up and guh look?
...
"Dan dan.."
I jumped at his voice but soon calmed down when I saw Landon. We stared at eachother for awhile and then I walked to him and hugged him.
"I'm sorry.." I said first.
Why was I sorry? I don't know it just came out.
I mean... yo disown him infront of him fada suh probably that.
