I started to wander around and found myself on the dance floor. I began to search for Drake. He shouldn't be hard to spot right? I mean come on, his hair is red for crying out loud! But no, its like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. You wouldn't believe the colors people come up with for their hair. Yikes.
After a couple minutes the smoke and drugs in the air overwhelmed me and I became bored with looking for Drake. I began to just let go and dance. To what beat? I'm not sure, but I felt free. I could feel a smile prick at the corners of my lips.
All I could see was smoke and soon everyone else was a blur. Even the music began to blend and slur. I soon blinked with realisation and I let out a laugh.
That dead girl I saw was just from the smoke and my imagination. It was so simple and I felt so stupid that I couldn't help but laugh at myself. I'm so gullible.
The drug began to enter through my nose, search through my brain and intoxicate my lungs. It started to open up emotions and thoughts I had never known were there. Emotions like fear, sadness, and boredom. Thoughts of how simple and routine my life was and how scared I was of dying the same way I am now.
Don't get me wrong, my life isn't bad. I have friends and a mother who love and care for me but all my boyfriends had rejected me for skinny twig girls, I spend too much time studying and I practically never go out. I don't want to die after a boring life.
Silently, I begin to wish to Fate that I would have an adventure in my life. But not any adventure, one I would never forget.
My brain began to get all foggy and I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. The last thing I hear was twisted laughter that was humorless and bland.

We began to get back into Drake's car. Drake had found me and taken me out of the building so that I could get some fresh air. Lance and Cassidy were waiting outside before we had come and Lance had looked very uncomfortable. He still did.
Drake started the car as soon as each of our doors were shut. Lance was looking out of his window as if wishing he were somewhere else. His brows were drawn together creating slight creases on his tan forehead.
I look over at Cassidy who has been rather quiet. Her beautiful face was full of guilt and what looked like embarrassment. I texted her and asked her what was bothering her. She replied and when I read it my stomach became tight and my heart began to drop.
Apparently while Drake and I were inside Cassidy had dragged Lance around back and asked him if he liked me and, long story short, he said no. It wasn't the nicest way possible but it was a no nonetheless. But, it turns out, he likes Cassidy. She turned him down though.
I turn and look out my window. Oh well, it wasn't the first time this has happened.
We were nearing the theater and I couldn't wait to get there and watch the move. It would take my mind off of the crazy party and Lance. Ok, maybe not but its worth a shot.
Drake pulled into the parking lot and parked near the side entrance. We all got out.
The wind hit my face and I had to blink rapidly to see anything. The moon was out and full. The stars were still hiding and so were the clouds. I blink more and look forward to see what was in front of me. AHHH! That's a tree! I step to the side and follow Cassidy to the side entry and I keep my eyes down at our feet to make sure I didn't almost run into another tree.
Once we step up onto the sidewalk I lift my head. Lance is over greeting someone. I can't see who it is but their deep voice sounds familiar. I was trying to figure out who it was when Lance stepped back from him. He lifted his hooded head and smirked once his eyes landed on me. My jaw dropped casing my lips to part slightly and I started in disbelief. This could not be happening!
