Uchiha's plaything

Chapter 7

Sakura's never proclaimed herself the best of the best when it came to being friends with people.

She knows she's bad at it.

 Don't get her wrong. When she's loyal to you it's for life, come hell or high water but she can be insensitive and brash and very much can't read a room.

She and Ino were best friends and then they started fighting like cats and dogs because of thier mutual attraction to a guy.

She probably could have been friends with Hinata had she toned it down a bit because Hinata is scared of crowds and loudness.

And now her latest screw up.

She had let Naruto down and it's no ones fault but her own.

What if he was in danger? What if Sasuke made empty promises?

Sure he's an Alpha who's always protected Naruto but that doesn't mean he's safe.

Why wasn't she a better friend? Had she been a better friend she could have helped Naruto, somehow.

Anyway really because he deserved happiness.

In fact he deserved the world after everything it's put him through.

She just hopes Sasuke delivers because if he doesn't she'll destroy him personally.

Last Uchiha or not she'll string him up and skin him alive and he'll be alive for every single second of it.

She just sighed before she looked around his apartment. She'd come here to water his plants.

He loved his plants and if he did one day come home he wouldn't come home to his plants dead and his apartment smelling old.

She changed his bedding and dusted everything before she slowly made her way back to his room to open his window. She didn't open it earlier out of fear of wandering Alpha's trying to climb through.

Not to mention the bounty hunters who have seen Naruto's wanted posters and those personally employed by the council have been trying to get in and take something of his.

Sakura's had to pummel a few of them to make sure they couldn't go after Naruto. Who knows what some of them would do and what thier orders were.

She's not naïve to think that the council would just send someone after Naruto with orders to bring him back. They'd try making sure he stay's in Konoha for good.

He'd be trapped here all over again and this time there would be no way out. She just could not let that happen.

~Pov Change~

Sasuke was getting fed up.

Look, he knows Naruto is a social butterfly, he can make friends during battle with the opposing side, but does Karen have to be a part of that social circle?

She's with him every second of the day, Sasuke has no idea what they are talking about. He has no idea what they find so fucking funny.

He has no idea as to why they abruptly stop talking when he enters the room. All he knows it he's bieng watched, he's bieng judged and he wants to know why. 

Does he get to know why? No and he can't get anything out of Naruto because his lips are sealed.

Attempting to command him would be met with his throat bieng ripped out and he doesn't want that to happen.
