I lifted my Angel into my arms easily. She weighed barely anything, and as I slung her over my shoulder, I couldn't help but smile. She was finally mine, in my possession, and she knew it was me. For years, I had waited in the wings for the perfect time to reveal myself. I had to wait until I was strong enough, and until she was ready. She accepted my touch so easily in the club, and when faced with me, she stood bravely, leaving that bitchy Laci behind. My heart swelled as I dialed Thomas's number.

"Sajang? (Boss?)" Thomas answered within a couple of rings.

"Chaleul bonaeseyo. (Send a car.) " I ordered.

"Eodilo? (Where?)" I heard him shuffling around in the background.

"Unity Park." I bit my lip in excitement.

"Done," Thomas answered swiftly, and I disconnected the line.

Minutes later, a car appeared on the side street. Without a word, I strode over, yanking the door open and placing my Angel inside. I would have ridden with her, but I needed to get my motorcycle. Luckily, it was a driver I was familiar with.

"Take her to my place, but don't use the main road," I spoke slowly.

The man shook his head and drove off without a word.

I rushed back to my bike and concealed myself behind my helmet. I saw Laci and John, mulling around and talking. I revved my engine and caught their attention for only a moment before speeding away. Within mere minutes, I managed to catch up to the car in which my Angel slept. With my connections, I had access to some of the best sedatives in the country. I had some made special just for her. I could feel my heart beginning to race in anticipation as I sped ahead of the car, making sure I arrived home first. I hooked my helmet on my bike and hurried out front to meet the vehicle. It pulled up just as I opened the front doors. The driver started to get out, but I held my hand up at him, and he did not move. Instead, he closed his door as I opened the back. Pulling my Angel into my arms was easy; she was light as a feather. Laci didn't cook well, and although my Angel could, she was too shy to say she wanted to use the kitchen. Again, I tossed her over my shoulder. The moon was high as I paid the driver a grand and sent him on his way. He sped off, and I rushed into the building. My Angel was stirring slightly. I made sure to give her just enough sedatives so that she would be out for the ride, but wake up in my house. Luckily, no one in my building was awake, not that they ever were at this ungodly hour.

I passed into my apartment with ease; no one had seen me, and no one would be looking for her. I lay my Angel on the couch, turning on a nearby lamp. At once, my heart quaked. Her clothing was audacious, and while it was not her style, she looked incredibly appealing. I yearned to touch her, but now that she knew who I was, there was no reason I had to conceal myself. I had wished for this day. For years, I had been in the shadows, watching from afar, waiting for her. It was by some luck that she waltzed her way into my house that day, trailing behind Laci. She was beautiful, just as stunning as the day she ran into me and dropped her books. She barely noticed me that day, and she had barely noticed me up until now. The look of fear, shock, and confusion in her eyes was everything to me, because she saw me for me.

"Hmmm," Angel stirred.

I leaned down in front of her. Sitting on my knees as her eyes peeled open.

"Wh-What...Where-Where..." She tried to remember what had happened and where she was. She rubbed her eyes. I helped her to sit up, and she coughed a bit.

"Here," I pulled a water bottle from the table, "Water."

She took it from me and drank a bit of it before passing it back to me. I closed the lid and set it back on the table, waiting for her to remember what happened.
