I was looking out of the car window taking in the sight of the beautiful river. The sunlight twinkling across the the giant body of water.
"Sure is beautiful, isn't it?"My dad said. "Eh, if you like rivers" I responded sourly.
"Oh come on! Don't be like that!" He warned. "Sometimes you just have to stop and smell the roses." My dad always did love saying that.
"I just... wish we could stay in one place for more than just 6 months."
I pleaded. "Now, you know we can't do that." He said. I subconsciously grabbed my hood and thought about everything I've been through. It was almost too much to bare. Almost. "Yeah, I know dad. I know."
