A Garmau Fanfic

Surprise...!

Garroth's POV

I start running around frantically, trying to sort out my "Surprise" for Aphmau. Just to make it perfect. Now i know we haven't quite made our relationship "Out there" as they say, yet at least but i really think everyone will be really excited for us when we do announce it. Anyway she's the only person, i've actually loved since my 'Peace marriage' with a woman i never knew, even though i ran away before it could actually happen! But i just want to get this perfect for her, because she's special to me.

Suddenly i see her walking back up the beach, a sudden surge of panic rushes over me and i leap behind a rock, i shut my eyes and hope and pray she didn't see me! I haven't had enough time to sort out her surprise! Its incomplete! i glance over the rock to see her looking around confused. Thank Lady Irene she didn't see me. I sink back down onto the sand and lean my head on the rock. But then i hear talking from behind me, i look over the rock again to see Laurance talking to Aphmau... I take the opportunity, whilst she's distracted to go and finish the surprise. I get up slowly and sprint away.

Laurance's POV

I approach Aphmau now, because she's alone, Garroth's not with her and she seems slightly confused. I walk up to her and touch her arm, she Yelps and turns to me.

"Oh its only you, Laurance!" She sighs with relief.

"Haha, yeah its only me" I force a laugh and look at her.

"Whats up?!" She smiles at me.

"Oh nothing really..."

"No Laurance, somethings not right! Whats wrong!" She seems genuinely worried for me, so i tell her whats wrong.

"Its just that you and Garroth have been spending loads of time together lately, I've just been feeling left out... thats all"

"Aww Laurance if you felt left out you could have told me any time!" She smiles and me and touches my arm. "I'll always be here to help"

"Thanks Aphmau, thats really comforting coming from you" I smile back.

"Hehe No problem!" She grins, but soon her grin turns to a confused stare.

"w-whats wrong?"

"Oh Garroth invited me to something this afternoon but he hasn't turned up" She looks really disappointed.

"Im sure he will!" I grin at her "He's not a no show, trust me"

"Mm Okay" She looks at the sand "Im just gonna go find him now"

"Okay! Bye aphmau!" I give a polite smile and walk away.  Face palming... that is not how i wanted that to go... at all!

Aphmau's POV

At this point, Laurance walks off and Garroth seems to appear out of no where... i look at him, confused and slightly annoyed. He walks over and smiles at me.

"Where did you go?!" I look at him, confused.

"Sorting out the surprise! I thought it would be longer, you giving Levin to Zoey. You know..."

He has something behind his back, i know it... But i don't mention it, because it might be a part of the surprise.

I sigh "Yeah i guess..."

"So are you ready for your surprise?"

"Yeah i guess so" My frown slowly breaks into a smile and i look at him.

"Okay" He hands me a rose, and takes my hand. He leads me into a room where there is a table set up, with fancy candles and more flowers, and a violinist.

"Do you like it?" He looks at me hopefully.

"Yes! I love it!!" He sits me at the table and we talk for a while before we order then eat. we then talk more for a while afterwards too, before it becomes late in the evening, and time to get back to our huts. We leave the room and set off down the beach to the huts, everyones sleeping, you can even hear Brendan sleep talking over Kawaii-chan! But we finally arrive at my hut.

"I had a great time tonight!" i grin.

"So did i" He smiles back at me.

Theres a tiny awkward silence before he takes me by the hips, we stare into each others eyes and we kiss. Every time we kiss it feels like our first. and i love it, i want it to last forever. but when we do break apart, Garroth hugs me, and whispers in my ear.

"Goodnight"

"Goodnight" I whisper back.

He turns and heads off to his hut. I open the door, collapse on my bed and fall asleep.
