[Coachella]

Looking on at the other acts as they performed during the music festival, Chris felt happy to just be a fan of the music he  was becoming a fan of. Sipping on his bottle of water to endure the desert heat that he was taking in, the last thing Chris wanted to do was overheat at any point. It had been a two weeks of non stop work that gave little room for relaxation or talking to Tori like he had hoped to. Leaving things as complicated they were since e was in Los Angeles, Chris wasn't quite sure how to handle the situation with Tori because it was evident that his feeling were on display in the song he wrote her. Just as he got caught up in his thoughts, Chris felt the vibrations of his cell phone to see that he was getting an incoming call from the very person that he was thinking about.

"Hey, what's up?" Chris asked as he answered the phone while he tried to find a quiet place in the tents set up for the performers

"Hey, you still at Coachella?" Tori asked 

"Yeah, performing tomorrow but I got here early to see a few acts" Chris said

"Bet it's crazy" Tori said

"Not really, it's very chill and relaxing"  Chris replied 

"Have things calmed down for you?" Tori asked "Any more scheduled appearances or business?" she asked 

"Uh, just studio time mostly. Ye has been on my ass about getting him some hard hitting material" Chris sighed

"Do you have to meet up with him?" Tori asked 

"Look, why don't you ask me what you want to ask me and let me see if I can work that out with my schedule?" Chris asked with a bit of a laugh, knowing that she wanted to ask something but was in since they saw each other last

"Fine, I was wondering... would you like to perform Love The Way You Lie  with me at the White House for Easter?" Tori asked

"The White House. Wow, you got me coming up now" Chris laughed

"I know, I just figured that this would be great and it's the White House" Tori told him

"Well... I'd have a set tomorrow but I could flu out afterward and get to Washington by the night" Chris told her

"Cool, we'd have all of Saturday for rehearsal and whatever. Then we'd perform on Sunday" Tori told him

"I got a show at the Trillectro with Travis, but I'm sure it'll all work that out with staging.  I'll have Jen look into flights and all that, but I'll let you know" Chris told her as they mapped out their plans

"Okay,I'll let I Isaac know that you'll be coming so he can work that out with staging. I'm sure everything will be the same like we do all the time" Tori replied 

"Alright" Chris replied 

"Alright" Tori replied after a few moments, unsure of how to say goodbye to him since it'd be the first time she'd see him in two weeks.
