We worked and, luckily, got most of it done already. Even though we were kinda high. Juan was actually way smarter than he put on. It was kinda impressive.

"We got some good work in today." He said, looking down at his paper and nodding in approval.

"Yeah, I know." I sighed, biting my lip as I went over the work one last time.

"You do that a lot."

I looked up at him. "Do what?"

"Bite yo lip like you want a nigga to pounce on yo ass." He shook his head. "You betta cut that shit out when you around me."

I laughed, putting my shit in my backpack. "I don't even notice I do it sometimes."

"Well I notice every time." He said, biting his lip. I shook my head and laughed.

"Well you need to stop."

"Nah, you need to stop." He got up from the couch and stretched. "You ready to go home or you coo?"

I looked at the time and shrugged. It was only 8:43. "I'm coo."

His phone rang and he looked at it, answering it and playing with a strand of my hair.

"Wassup? Nah I'm at the crib." He looked at me and rolls his eyes sarcastically. I laughed.

"Who all tryna come nigga don't- who the fuck is Trayquan? Chris." He groaned. "Tell the clique they can chill but don't bring no niggas ion know to my crib, mane." Another pause. "Ight." He hung up and looked at me. "You feel like company?"

"Do I really have a choice? You just told them they could come." I laughed, shaking my head.

"I can tell them they can't." He said, raising an eyebrow.

"Nah, it's coo." I shrugged, rolling my lips around in my mouth. He watched me do this, but I tried to distract myself with things on my phone.

"You a virgin?"

I looked at him, obviously surprised, but answered honestly. "No."

"I can tell." He chuckled. "Who took it?"

"My ex..." I drifted off, not sure why he wanted to know.

He nodded , his hands still in my hair. "Was he good?"

I gave a short laugh. "Why?"

"So no."

"I didn't say that."

"You didn't say he was, either."

"Why you wanna know? You want him to take yours too?" I laughed. He glared at me.

"I just wanna know what I'm up against."

"Boy-" I started, but my phone rang. It was my aunt. I answered.

"Wassup."

"You at home?" She asked, sighing.

"Nah, I'm at my friend house working on a project. Why wassup?" I asked, biting at my lip.

"Nothing, I was just checking on you. What friend?"

I looked at Juan and laughed. "His name Juan."

"Huh, Juan. He dropping you off?"

"Yeah, he drove me here." I said in a 'duh' tone.

"Yeah, I need to have a little talk with when ya'll get here."

"Okay, mama." I sighed, knowing exactly what she was gone say to him.

"Ight, see you when you get here. Love you."
