chapter 14

Luke's pov

It was Saturday so we didn't have to go to school.

I went downstairs and saw all the guys in the living room. Cameron said "hey buddy." I said "good morning." Cameron said "you hungry?" I said " no not really."

Nash said " how are you feeling?" I said "I'm fine." Cameron said "we are gonna go out with Maggie and her parents wanna come?" I said "yes." Hayes said "you respond so fast Luke." Emma hit him and said "leave him alone!" I laughed at Hayes. Hayes said "well you know what if Emma wasn't here, I would get you." Emma said "shut up,no you wouldn't." Hayes said "Emma doesn't know anything." I laughed at how stupid Hayes was being and I ran to my room.

I took a shower and I got dress.

I went downstairs and everyone was already. We got in the car. Hayes said "Luke likes Maggie." Emma slapped him and said "why you bothering him so what if he does!" Hayes said "you are lucky you are my best friend and that you are a girl." Emma said "you wouldn't hit me any way." Hayes said" whatever."

We got out and Cameron and Nash made me stay with Hayes and Emma.Cameron and Nash went inside the house.

Hayes said "watcha wanna do?" I said "eat?" Emma said "meet too Hayes." Hayes said "let's go ask Miss Dassie." We went to Maggie's mom and introduced ourselves and we ask her can we eat. She said sure but we had to wait 30 or 20 minutes.

Emma said "what you guys wanna do now?" Hayes said "Luke come on, there is a water slide!" Hayes grabbed my hand and we ran over to it. We got on it and slide down it was fun. We got off and Emma said "Hayes you are so childish." Hayes said "I know but you are best friends with a childish person." Emma said "shut up." Hayes said "I'm bored there isn't anything to do outside." Emma said " your outside your supposed to play." I said "so can I go play with them?" Hayes said "sorry buddy we was told for you to stay with us." I said "I'm still gonna be with you, I'm gonna stand right in front of you." Hayes said "fine go ahead."

Hayes's pov

Luke was playing and me and Emma was watching him. Emma said "would you really hit me?" I said "no Emma, I was playing, I love you, I'm sorry." Emma said" I love you too." I said " but why you gotta slap me?" Emma said "you bothering Luke, that is how Elijah bothers me." I said "oh, you don't want me to get in the habit of bothering him then I start bullying him" Emma said "oh my gosh Hayes you so smart." I said " ha ha very funny." Emma said " but yea he is only 10." I said "oh, I didn't know." Emma leaned on me.

Emma got off of me and ran to Luke I think. I ran after her. Luke was on the floor and Emma was seeing if he is okay. I picked Luke up. Emma said " Hayes a man knocked him down isn't that weird." I understood who it was and I got scared, I grabbed Emma's hand and pulled her inside.

We went to Cameron and Nash. I finally looked at Luke. He was crying. Cameron said "what is wrong Luke?" Luke said "Dada is here."
