Cas realized he was still holding onto Dean and let go. "Sorry about that." Castiel said, embarrased. "Oh. Don't worry about it!" Dean smiled at Cas. "Wow... I just hugged Dean? And he's not weirded out? Wait... Is he smiling at me?" A thousand thoughts rushed through his head. "What if he likes me? What if he doesn't?" What if I hug him again?" But all he could manage to get out was "Breakfast?". Cas noticed the coffee in Dean's hand and grabbed it since it seemed that Dean was about to drop it. "Thanks!" Dean nodded towards the angel. "No probl- SAMMY!WAKE UP!" Dean interrupted Cas. Sam sat up slowly and yawned. "Good morning." He said in a sleepy voice. Sam got out of bed and shuffled toward the table. "Sleep well?" Cas faced Sam. "Yeah. For once." Sam chuckled, still slightly drowsy. "What time is it?" He asked. "8:42 am" Cas replied without hesitation. "Thanks. I'm going to head down town. See if there's anything strange going on." Sam exclaimed. He put on his jacket and left. "Good, he's gone. Cas... I have something to tell you..." Dean said quietly. "What is it?" Castiel asked, exited. "I think... I think I love you..." Dean looked directly into Cas's eyes. Castiel couldn't believe it. His heart was racing. "Dean I... I don't know what to say." His face was red. "You don't have to say anything my little angel." Dean whispered softly. He leaned it. When Cas noticed a piece of what looked like skin in a small corner of the room. He quickly pulled out his angelic sword and stabbed the shape-shifter in it's side. It then quickly ran out the door, and disappeared. "Damn it." Cas says, breathing heavily. He was still red from just a few moments ago. He grew worried. "I have to find Sam." He told himself. The Impala was still in the parking lot. Dean always hid his before going to sleep. Castiel looked around and found them in under five minutes. He rushed to the car and started it. He had gone through at least eight buildings until he eventually found Sam. He was talking to the owner of a book store. "Sam. I need to talk to you." He interrupted. "Thanks for the help." He nodded to the owner. She nodded back, with a slightly worried face. "What's up Cas?" Sam questioned calmly. "Shape-shifters. They've got Dean." Sam's eyes grew wide. "Do you have any idea where they're hiding?" Sam asked. "No. But I did see a sewer opening nearby." Cas explained. They made their way over to the spot Castiel had mentioned and climbed down into the sewer. They split up and searched around for Dean, but so far nothing turned up. Cas was starting to lose faith. "What if I never find him... Or if I never see him again." He ran faster now. He had to keep trying. Cas saw I very dim light up ahead. He grew anxious, and he knew he had to be silent. So he crept along the wall. He saw Dean. Sam was there too! But he was still quiet. Just in case. Castiel flinched when Sam slapped Dean. "That's not Sam..." He told himself. Sam punched Dean. Cas hated seeing this. But he knew he had to wait until the thing left so he could rescue Dean. After about fifteen minutes, Sam walked off. Castiel ran silently towards Dean and freed him. "Dean? Is that really you?" Cas pleaded. "Yeah. It's me." Dean said before running off to find where the shape-shifter was keeping his brother.
