Chapter 1

Sara's P.O.V

I wish that I could wake up with amnesia and forget about-. My alarm clock went off and I woke up. Another day in death. I thought to myself. I decided to get ready but not eat breakfast. (Beginning of chapter) My outfit:
-olive+oak cutout strap tank
-'Jamie' bleached skinny jeans
-faux leather jacket
-white vans
-black bracelets
I put on some waterproof mascara and foundation. My nails are constellation stars and my hair is in a half up-do braid and curled at the end. I texted my friend Casey and Mia. I read Casey's text first.
~Hey Sara. U need me to pick u up?
I told her sure and I'll be ready in 10. I then read Mia's text.
~Meet up at school? Btw got u guys ur reg. Starbucks.
I told her thanks and we'll see her at school. Casey picked me up and we went to meet up with Mia. We talked and then went to first period. I have all my classes with at least 2 of my bullies. "Hey sl*t." Cameron said. I stayed quiet knowing I would get hit anyways. The teacher never cares what we do. The rest of the class period Cam and Matt kept giving me death threats and telling me I'm worthless. It continued like this til lunch with 2 different bullies each period. I don't have classes with Mia or Casey so they don't know about this. I went to the back of the school and saw that they were already there. "Finally. The worthless piece of sh*t is here." Taylor said. Aaron and Shawn held my arms and they looked like they didn't wanna be here. Taylor and Cameron punched my stomach. Nash and Carter kicked my stomach. Jack J. and Jack G. kicked my back and my head. Matt was just the lookout. When they were done, Cam said, "You should just die. Nobody wants you here. You should just cut yourself really deep and bleed to death." I stayed quiet and thought, 'Maybe he's right.' I went to the bathroom and made fresh cuts.
-1 for each boy
-2 for being worthless
-3 for nobody wanting me here
I cleaned up the cuts and left school. I decided I would just go to Starbucks for the rest of the day. I walked in and ordered an Iced Passion Tango Tea Lemonade. I sat down at a table and went on my phone. Mia and Casey were asking where I was and why I left early. I just turned my phone off and looked around. I noticed someone walking in. We locked eyes and he started walking towards me. "Hi. My names Logan." I looked down and said, "My names Sara." "What are you doing here alone?" He asked. "I...um ditched school. I needed to leave." I said. "Oh." He said. "Well, wanna get to know each other?" He said. I replied with a sure. We took turns asking questions and he kept making me laugh. "I have to get home, but I'll see you around." I said. "Wait. Can I have ur number? It's so we can plan to hangout another time." He said. "Sure. ***/***/****." I said. I walked home and right when I walked in my dad was drunk holding a beer bottle and yelled at me. "WHERE THE FU*K WERE YOU!! IVE BEEN WAITING!!" He slurred/yelled. I stayed quiet knowing if I spoke it wouldn't do anything. He threw the beer bottle and started punching my stomach kicking my legs, back, and head. Once he was done, I went to my room and started cutting. I cut 7 more times and cleaned it up. I called Alexa and told her about everything that happened today. She said that she has $2,300 saved up and we can leave to LA in about a week. I agreed and said I have $2,100 saved. I told her I'm going to sleep and I'll call her tomorrow. I texted back to Casey's and Mia's text messages from earlier. After that I got ready for bed and went to sleep.
