Chapter 3

Sara's P.O.V

I woke up and went to take a shower. I felt my cuts burn as the hot water hit my skin. When I was done, I blow dried my hair and French fish tailed my hair. (First picture) I decided to wear:
- maroon crop top hoodie
- black jeans
- white converse
I painted my nails maroon and black and got my black penny board.
When I got there, Shawn and Aaron came up to me and walked me to my locker. I don't get why they were being nice to me. I get that I told them my story, but if they're doing it to pity me then I hate it. When it was lunch time, I didn't get anything to eat and knew I had to meet up with them. When I got there, I didn't expect to see Shawn and Aaron.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked a little scared.
"They were just about to leave." said Taylor.
I looked at them expecting them to stay and protect me, but they didn't. I felt really stupid to tell them everything and now they don't help me when I need them the most. I looked at them in disbelief and started laughing/crying.
"I can't believe I was stupid enough to tell you my story!😤😭I thought you would understand-" I was cut off. "But we do underst-" Aaron started. "If you understood, you wouldn't keep your mouth shut. You would actually try and help me then be quiet and let them hurt me! I am done! I can't trust anyone!! I hope you all are happy. Goodbye forever!" I said. After I said that, I ran to my spot. I found this when I was little when my dad would yell at me and I ran away. I decided to get my extra razor I have in my pocket and cut. I cut one more for each boy (including Shawn and Aaron), my dad, being a terrible person, etc. I started breaking down and letting the blood flow. I started getting dizzy and hearing people call my name.
Last thing I heard was "Noo-" and I was out.

Shawn's P.O.V

'Now I wish I stood up for her.' I thought. I chased after her, but I couldn't find her. I looked everywhere, until I found this one place that I've never seen before. That's where I saw her. Laying there. Not moving. I ran to her and checked her pulse. It's barely there.😰 I picked her up and ran to the nearest hospital.
When I got there, they took her in immediately. I waited there until a doctor came up to me.
He said, "Would you like the good news or bad news?"
"Aren't you going to ask if I'm any way related to her." I asked confused.
"I don't need to know because I can tell you're in love with her." he replied.
"I would like to hear the bad news." I said.😨
He said, "Well the bad news is that she cut deep and lost a large amount of blood."
At this point I thought I was too late.😔
"-And the good news is that we were able to save her."
I think I was so excited I started crying.
"Can I see her?" I asked.
"Go right ahead." He said.

Sara's P.O.V

I woke up confused and sad. 'Why am I in a hospital?' I thought. I heard a knock on my door. "Come in." I said a little curious to know who would actually come see me. It was Shawn.
Shawn- "Hey."
Me- "Hi. What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with Taylor?"
Shawn- "I actually brought you here. I was scared about what might have happened to you after you left."
Me- "So, you actually care?"
Shawn- "Of course I care! I didn't tell them what you told us because you have trust issues. Sorry I respect privacy!"
Me- "But you still didn't stick up for me."
Shawn- "..."
Me- "Exactly. If you're not going to help me, then get out of my life. I don't need someone who won't actually help me."
Shawn- " I want to help you! It hurt me to see the way you were when I found you! I can't live without you. I love you."
Me- "If you loved me, you would help me."
Shawn- "It's harder than you think. Taylor has a gun collection he's not afraid to kill any one of us."
Me- "Just turn him in to the cops."
Shawn- "He has enough money to bribe the judge and cops."
Me- "Well I was going to die anyways."
Shawn- "Please🙏🏻 I need you to forgive me. I will stand up to him for you even if it means I get hurt."
I thought about it.
Me- "Shawn..."
