Mine

Chapter One

I had practically moved very far from home to go to my dream college. I was practically going to be the loner. But I didn't like to think about that since, I decided to be independent and confident about things. I would march in there like a boss and show people that I'm not another prissy girl. So I wore a white and red striped long sleeved shirt, denim jeans, and my black leather jacket. I walked in with my books in my bag, two suitcases and walked to the secretary. She gave me my schedules and a map of the school, then she also took my suitcases to a storage place till I came back to take it to my dorm later after school.

I was trying to find my way around the school but I ended up getting lost the same time I had a class. And now I was going to be late. I scurried fastly to find my class. I was already late. I couldn't believe this. It was my first day and I was already making a bad impression. I hurriedly ran then bumped into someone. "Oh, sorry." I said clumsily. "Hey." He said.
"Hey." I said. I then looked into his eyes and knew that he was no ordinary guy. He was someone special. I could just feel it. "Eh.... I better... Go." I said.
"Ya me too. What's your name?"
"I'm Alexandra. But call me Alex."
"Drue." He said.
"I really have to go."
"Ya, bye Alex." He said then sauntering off. I watched him go in a daze. He was hot! But didn't seem interested so then I snapped out of it. I quickly then found my class and was then punished with detention. Everyone turned to me. "Ms Summer. Why are you late?" The teacher asked. "Being late on the first day isn't a good first impression, isn't it?"
"No it is not, sir." I mumbled.
"What? Sorry I didn't catch that. Actually never mind and just sit down. And don't let this happen again." The teacher excused me. So I quickly went to an empty seat and started taking notes.

I bought a burger and water. I then took a red tray and went down to sit somewhere. I sat down next to a fine enough looking blonde girl with brown eyes. She was in a light pink tank top, a white skirt, and light pink pumps. "Hey, I'm Bree." She said all perky like.
"By any chance were you a cheerleader?"
"Yes, how did you know?!" She giggled loudly holding her hand over her mouth letting me see her manicured nails. Then I looked at my plain nails and hid them in my denim jeans pockets.
"Ya I don't do perky cheerleaders." I said getting prepared to change seats.
"Excuse me?! Girl, I ain't just perky." She said suddenly changing tone. Then she laughed like a normal human being.
"Woah, did you just change completely." I said shocked.

"Yep." She laughed.
"Oh my-"
"I'm in the arts and drama program. Nice to meet you." She smiled then put out her hand, then I shaked it. "I wanted the teacher to think of me as someone who I'm not and kinda pretend to be that girl, but then surprise them in the end. You should try it. Surprises people every time." She smiles, laughing at my shock.
"It sure does. Hi, I'm Alex." I finally say letting her know my name.
"I'm yet still Bree." She laughed then I laughed along. "Welcome to L.A California, then."
"It is hot here!" I said drinking aload of my water.
"Ya, no one told you that, huh?" She laughed.
"No." I said gulping down my water. I took a bite out of my burger.
"Oo! That looks nice!" She said then taking it from my hands and eating it.
"Hey!" I said grabbing it back."Look at the huge bite you took!" I complained. "Don't touch my food." I said going all territorial on her.

"K." She giggled. Then she started eating her onion rings so I snatched a handful and ate them appreciately. When I had finished I laughed.
"Ha. Ha. Ha!" I said. "Don't touch my food." I said.
"Don't touch mine." She glared.
"Then don't touch mine."
"But don't touch mine." We glared having a staring match then ended up bursting into laughter. I think I was going to like this girl.

"So what shall we do first, buddy?" Bree said. It felt like she had never left my side.
"I don't know. Maybe we could go check out the mall." I said.
"Sure, why not?" She said. We then walked into 'Sunset Mall' and walked into Forever 21. I checked out some of their maxi dresses then found some hip outfits. By the time we came out we had a bunch of cute crop tops and shorts. We then walked into five more shops and after a while we got peckish so we headed to a the food court. "Ooo! So many good choices." I said wondering where to go to get food. In the end I went into the 'Donut Hut' and got a bag of one chocolate donut, glazed donut, two chocolate donuts with sprinkles, and one custard filled donut. "Holy mole! Are you seriously gonna eat all of them?!" She asked shocked.
"Yes, and don't take any!" I said taking out my custard filled donut. "So where do you wanna eat?" I asked her wondering which section would she pick.
"I think I'll just go for a shake. I'm not that hungry." She said going into the 'Shake Shake'. She got a strawberry milkshake and I got a vanilla one with cream at the top.

After a while Bree got hungry so she tried to snatch one of my donuts but I slapped her hand.
"Ow! Please just one?" She pouted.
"Fine." I sighed then gave her my chocolate and sprinkled one. I then took out my just chocolate donut and ate it then started sipping my milkshake. "God, we are fatties." I said chuckling with a bit of milkshake in my mouth.
"I know right!" She said snatching my second chocolate and sprinkled donut. I glared at her. "Sowwy." She said, saying it sort of wrong with all the donut in her mouth. I just glared and ate my last donut. The glazed one. The best for last. I devoured it hungrily as if I didn't have enough in my belly, after the donut I was stuffed. So I just held my shake until I got less full.

After we walked around a few shops then when we left Pandora I saw Drue. With a bunch of 'the' guys hanging out. He laughed at something one of his friends said then saw me. I turned my head quickly. "What is it?" Bree asked suddenly paying attention to me.
"Nothing." I said quickly. She then turned her head and saw Drue, who was still looking at me.
"He's hot." She said.
"I - um - met him earlier. In the college. His name is Drue. And isn't he just..." I said starting to drool a little.
"Ew! That not hot." She said to me.
"Ya your right, sorry." I said blushing. "We better head back and sort out our dorms. God knows who I'm getting." I sighed.
"Ya, I know right." Then we walked back to the school, which wasn't very long since the mall was close by.

We went to the dorm section and headed to the reception part of that. "How can I help you?" The lady asked.
"Could I please have my dorm key please? I'm Alexandra Summers." I said. "Your in the girls dorm, level two door fifteen." She handed me my key. "And you?" She asked Bree.
"Bree WordsWorth." She said.
"Your the girls dorm, level two, door fifteen. Looks like you two are roommates." She said as she handed her the other key. We squealed with joy. "Girls is right, boys left." She instructed, we headed right and eventually found our dorm room. It was one big enough room, with two big wardrobes one on the left another the right and a chest drawer next each of the double beds. I took my new clothes and ones from back home and started arranging them into the big wardrobe. I put my bra, panties, and PJ's in my chest drawer. I changed into a white tank top, blue high waisted jeans, and blank ankle boots. Bree also did the same and changed into a grey crop top, some light pink shorts, and black stilettos.

"Let me guess, your favourite colour is light pink?" I asked.
"Yes, how did you know?" She acted surprised then started to laugh and I laughed along.
"Just a hunch." I laughed.
"I like light pink, but I'm not obsessed with it, you know? How about you?" She asked sitting down on her double bed.
"Aqua really." I shrugged.
"Oo! I have this gorgeous Aqua top, you should borrow it sometime. Maybe for the party tonight." She grinned.
"What party?" I asked.
"The party in the woods. You know the first epic party, ever over here. Someone is going to sneak some alcohol, we're gonna do it after the curfew. It's gonna be awesome!" She smirked.
"Cool." I said.
"We should probably head down for dinner in the big dining hall." She said.
"Ya, let's go." I said.
