Chapter Seventeen

****3 Years Later****

"Hey Alex, did you get the answer to question 2b in math? I honestly don't get any of this stuff."

"You don't get anything Siersha." I sighed throwing her my answers.

"So true." She nodded in agreeance, which was just sad...

"I gotta go meet Drew, I'll text you later. And don't lose my answers, and if you do I sware I will beat the shit out of you."

"Like you could." She laughed.

"So true. Bye." I laughed along, which was also sad, and walked out of the library. I could feel the nervous beat of my heart. My hearts beat rate was increasing too fast for my liking. I reached Drew's dorm, luckily he still had his own dorm, I don't know but every year he just seemed to be the lucky one to get one on his own. I opened it up and the room was very dark. The curtains were closed and there were rose petals in the shape of a heart in the middle of the floor. I closed the door behind me and got such a fright when I saw Drew behind the door holding a bouquet of flowers. "You scared me." I laughed. "So what's up?"

"Alex, I loved you all my life. I don't know why I couldn't of told you this sooner. We've been best friends for all these years in college, and I've wanted more. I know when Chase pushed you too far I was there for you to be a shoulder to cry on, I know when you finally went back on the single and ready to mingle market I was there to give you an honest opinion and what to wear you know with Bree. And I'm so sick of waiting for guys to treat you right and they don't," Tears were streaming down my face at this moment,"I need to step up and treat you right. Because I love you, not as best friends but as more. I don't know if you've ever felt this for me but I can only hope. I still have that picture of you in the cafe that day, it's even my screensaver. But what I'm trying to say is, please will you be my girlfriend?" He finally finished. I wiped my tears and composed myself.

"For a second I thought you'd ask for me to marry you." I giggled.

"Don't worry, I'll do that soon." he winked which made me laugh.

******2 Years Later*******

God, it's crazy. I still remember that first day of college when I saw Drew. He was cute. But I never thought we'd even become friends let alone boyfriend, to this. Things never go the way you expect it to, you know. It's just, wow.... One things for sure that this isn't a mistake because I love him so damn much. And I laugh when I remember him telling me he'd do this, and of course he did. After a year of dating he asked to marry me, and I've never been so sure to say yes in my entire life. Ever.

I woke up on my wedding night full of joy. It was quite a hectic morning. I was soon rushed into my make up because we were running late. "You are gonna look gorgeous." Bree smiled at me. "Totally." Siersha agreed.

"Now doll, one last brush and.. Your done. You look beautiful." The makeup artist smiled at me. "Have a lovely wedding day. Oh, which reminds me, I bought you a gift."

"Oh you didn't have to." I said.

"No I didn't have to but I did anyway. It's no hassle. Here you go. Have a wonderful day. Bye doll." She gave me an air kiss and left. I quickly shared off my daze and wiggled into my beautiful dress. It was a no goofy dress, it was simple. It had a silky bottom and a bit of embroidery at the top. It showed off my curves in a respectful yet sexy way. I slipped into my 'glass slippers' and looked myself in the mirror. I felt like a princess.

"You look amazing." My mom said coming into the room.

"She does." Siersha and Bree agreed.

"So do you too." I said motioning to them. There bridesmaid dresses were amazing. They were baby blue lace dresses the top layer had a sash wrapped around tied as a bow at the back, and the bottom half just floated down to their feet. It was almost as beautiful as my dress.

"Thanks." They said in unison then laughed. My mom looked at her watch and frowned.

"Oh dear, we must go."

*****At The Church*****

My dad walked me in. And when we finally reached the big church door it opened and all their attention was on me. The music began to play and we slowly walked up to the alter. Tears gleamed in my eyes when I saw Drew. He looked good. And nervous which made me feel less nervous, somehow.

*****Late at Night****

"Finally!" Drew yelled in joy when we got into the hotel we'd be sleeping at that night of wedding.

"What?" I giggled in confusion.

"I get to call you my wonderful wife." He grinned at me. He grabbed my waist and pulled me in. He then kissed me gently then he got more wanting and passionate. And eventually it led into the master suite bedroom. Ah ah, I don't kiss, I mean share and tell. But one more thing....

Aren't I lucky he's mine.....
