the whole school day went by pretty fast for me until my last class, which was english, my favorite subject.

as soon as i walked in i went to the back of the classroom. i liked sitting in the back so i wasn't that close to anybody but sometimes i didn't have a choice.

i turned to put my book bag around my chair when i noticed who was sitting next to me. it was cody.

we made eye contact for a moment until he looked down at his hands and started messing around with the two rings on his hand.

the whole class period i kept looking over at cody and realized that he constantly played with his rings and tapped his foot on the ground. i couldn't apprehend why.

the bell rang when the class period was over and cody instantly jumped up and disappeared out of the room.

i just shook it off and texted courtney.

to court - hey, im heading to the main doors, meet me there
from court - kk, on my way

after we met up at the front of the large building we walked out to her car and began driving to my house. it only took about 15 minutes to get to my house from school but 15 minutes in the car with courtney seems a lot longer.

i got home and immediately went to the kitchen and found a note from my mom saying she was going to be home late, again.

later that night i ordered a pizza and watched movies until i ended up falling asleep.
