graysan
today was friday, the eighth day of school. i was now in my english class waiting for the bell to ring so i could get home and do nothing.
cody still sits right next to me and still runs right out of class when the bell rings. but today was different.
"okay class, no homework today but you'll have some on mon-" mr jackson got cut off by the bell.
this time when cody left before anybody else, i followed right behind him until we reached his blacked out jeep.
"why have you been avoiding me?" i asked, standing by the passenger side with my hands on the top of the door.
cody stood across from me at his drivers door, arms crossed at the top.
"we've known each other since we 12, why are you just now noticing me?" cody asked with a stern and sad look on his beautifully structured face.
"cody, I've always noticed you. i just never thought about talking to you because you never tried talking to me. im sorry."
"okay, princess." he smiled and drove off.
3 hours later
i was sitting on my bed eating chinese food, home alone of course, when i remembered that i had codys phone number.
to cody herbinko - hey cody, it's graysan. please talk to me.
from cody herbinko - ok, but why
to cody herbinko - i wanna get to know you. the real you.and he never texted back.
word count - 245
