"No mum, no matter how much I love you, I won't." Calum huffed while setting the table.
"I'm not asking anymore, Cal. Your sister is going to be out, Jess is out because of her wisdom teeth and I have a doctor's appointment. I really need you at the shop." Joy said while pointing her wooden spoon at the tall grumpy boy.
Calum loved his mother with all his heart but he really didn't want to do what she was asking. He wasn't ashamed of his mom's business or the fact that he knew how to do nails, he just simply did not want to go. He'd rather sleep in or anything than deal with acetone and cuticles.
"Fine, I'll do it. But this is only a one time thing, okay?" He sighed as he didn't want to disappoint his mom.
Joy raised her knife in the air as a smile spread onto her face. She sped to Calum trying to hug him, but he stopped her saying that she needed to chill before she killed him and he couldn't make it tomorrow. That resulted in Joy hitting Calum with the spoon and telling him he needed to chill.
As Calum ate his dinner, he didn't think too much of what was in store for him the next day. He stuck around his mom's salon before, but he never ran it without her before. He hoped that it wouldn't be a pain in the ass and something good would come out of it.
