"As you can see romance with a capital R..." Madame Cebba explained.
Oh that again, I sighed, I didn't see the point. I mean we were over this so often and it was confusing. It made me forget which romance was which. I had come to learn to improve my writing not...The room grew quiet and the girl beside me began to giggle.
"Isn't that your brother," Celina whispered to me from her desk.
I looked back to see Andrew enter the room, all eyes were on him. I suddenly knew what the gigling was about.
"Why you must be, Lady Verity's brother?" Madame Cebba turned to look at him, "Andrew?"
"Yes," he nodded, "I came to visit her, I understand tea will be served soon."
"Of course, I forgot," she laughed, "Class you're dismissed for tea."
The girls all scurried over to my brother before I could even get to them.
"Oh, andrew!" Macey cried, "I didn't expect to see you again." She was the closest to him, "I thought the ball was the last I'd see of you."
"Well, I hardly remember you," he stated, "You were one of the girls I danced with though, were you."
"Yes," she giggled, "I was and the first one."
"No, wonder you were so beautiful," he jested before looking at me. I gave him a glare, he was flirting again.
"It was the truth," he told me as I nibbled on my sandwich at tea, we both sat on the grass in the garden. I wasn't sure how long until our talk would last with 30 giddy girls having their eyes set on my brother and dying to talk to their hero, just because he was good-looking. "She was beautiful, but not as beautiful as Belle."
"Then why didn't you say so?" I asked annoyed. "I mean to her."
"That would be cruel wouldn't it, besides," he sat up striaghter, "I think you're just dying for me to say something rude to her and you'll never get that from me."
"Fine," I sighed, throwing my apple core away making sure it landed at Macey's feet. She gave a squeel and tiptoed away from it.
"I guess she may a bit pretty like, Belle, Drew, but she's the world's most terrible priss, horrible and terrible," I laughed as I leaned back, "And I wish you had been rude to her."
"So the truth's out now," he leisurely draped his arm around my shoulders. "You just hate her."
"I only dislike her," I slowly picked at the grass.
"What happened to your necklace, the gold one?" Andrew asked curiously.
"What necklace?" I asked confused, fingering my gold cross one.
"The one I gave you when you turned 16," he looked at me, "You wore it along with that necklace."
"I've got two I have to wear, my magen david and my cross one," I picked a flower and smelled it's fragrance. "Besides someone else needed it."
"Needed it?" he questioned.
"I can't tell you," I looked around, knowing it was to dangerous at the school. I watched as MAcey and Celina came up to him.
"Oh, Andrew, we forgot to ask," MAcey began, "Will you be coming to the ball next week at the Tisroc's."
"I'm afraid not," he answered, "I'll be in Archenland next week, Belle invited me..."
