She laid on the large bed as she panted and twitched every so often letting out a few weary groans. The sweat rolled down her forehead and a large hand tenderly grasped hers; his eyes boring down into her closed ones.

She was delirious.

He gritted his teeth together and stared up at the woman who had caused this. "You pushed her too much!"

"I had too. You ordered me to keep this from happening! However much you say do-"

"Not so much to render her to death. Her energy cannot sustain all this." He said firmly glaring at her as Adronna let out a sigh annoyed.

She stepped towards the bed running her fingers through her hair. "You ask of me to keep this from her, yet you drained her to find out information. This is what made her so."

He let out a snarl as his eyes turned a fiery red ready to lunge at her before hearing a soft whine and shift in the bed. He looked down, his expression softening, as he stared at her amethyst eyes.

"Druvic...my head..." She said softly reaching towards him. Lenore curled her toes together and inhaled deeply letting out a soft groan.

A pain smile expressed on his face and he looked up at the Adronna stating, "Leave us," and she dissipated into smoke without a response.

Lenore groaned as she sat up but he gripped her shoulder and gently pushed her down. "You've only just awoken, you need rest."

She shook her head confused and wiped the sweat from her forehead. "What happened?"

"You fell ill and Adronna saved you." He said in a husky tone then laid next to her pulling her into his arms.

"Oh..." She mumbled softly pressing her face against his chest, and her eyes fluttered tired.

"Sleep dove." He said softly, and she purred softly closing her eyes as she drifted into slumber her face buried into his chest.

By the time she had woken, he was gone. She stretched and blinked looking down at the white nightgown. She made her way into the bathroom staring at the newly made bathe filled with lilacs. She shivered as her foot stepped in. It was hot, the water warming up her skin and she let out a soft sigh. Lenore reached for the bar of soap and began to wash her body.

She stepped out of the bath looking in the mirror, her wings fluttered. She looked at her fingers flexing them out though stopped as the walls both met her fingers. She frowned and moved them in front of her staring down at the feathers. She ran her fingers over the soft wings and smiled placing them back in her normal position and reached for the comb laying on the vanity.

She brushed her hair slowly placing them two strands in the front in braids. Her eyes glowed softly as she heard and felt the hum of her necklace. It vibrated softly on top her chest glowing and emitting a soft sound. Her eyebrows knitted into confusion and reached to touch it but stopped before her fingers could touch the odd amulet.

She let out a deep sigh and turned quickly finding an outfit to wear.

Druvic stared down at the many letters annoyed. How many lords and ladies wanted him to attend the ball, in which he would respectively decline.

He drummed his fingers through each letter addressed by each royal and grumbled annoyed search for a name of importance.

"Lillith..." He said softly reaching for the sealed letter and opened it slowly with his dagger breaking the seal.

The northerners, while prideful have admitted defeat and bear witness to its liege and king.

Though some may say they plan to rue another day, I say nay. I see no future in them to cause harmful deeds. Many have given up.

They've been beat and pushed far back until their dignity almost lost.

Sire, they pledge their mind and soul to you. Their leaders gone and stranded for guidance. I would recommend Leon or perhaps Eliza both good candidates and their loyalty unsuspicious.

They will maintain order and keep the northerners in check without one uprising for lands.

I bid thee well.

Ellach Taivus.

Lilith

He tilted his head a smile appearing on his lips. Then frowned right after, it would be a hard choice to choose which soldier shall be in charge.

His spymaster was never doubted about despite the whispers. She was almost like a myth to his people. No one knew where she was, but they told tales of her revealing lies involving the empire. Assassination attempts foiled by the whispers Lilith had found.

Most would tell the tale to young ones, in order to make them avoid wrongful deeds and doings. While she might have seen as a myth, many citizens were too frightened by old tales to try to test it.

He ran his fingers down the paper and it slowly dissipated in the air. The remnants of the letter vanishing from unwanted eyes. He called forth his servants ordering them to make a meal for him and his queen figuring she would be awake. He sighed making his way towards the hall heading for their dining room, ready to eat with his queen.

Lenore stared in the mirror; she changed in a silk dress and had combed her hair. Her skin sparked as her eyes glowed softly, the amulet still humming. Her hair looked almost as feather as she fluttered her wings quickly turning towards the door opening it to find a servant about age 12 staring up at her.

"Miss, food is ready..." The young one said her eyes wide with awe of only stories which were ill-compared to the real being standing before her.

Lenore smiled and crouched down to her level kissing the child on her forehead. "Thank you, young one. I shall be departing. Would you like to join?" She asked and watched as the child grew happy and giddy.

Lenore smiled and rubbed her own stomach thinking what would happen if she was with child. She lightly tugged the child almost gliding down the hall as they made it to the dining room of food. Her king smiling at her then furrowed his brow slightly. His eyes wandered down at her body then stared at the child almost menacingly. The child let go and quickly scurried away to do her work. Lenore sighed and bit her lip stepping towards him.

"My liege?" He nodded at her request, and she sat down clearing her throat rubbing her hands against the curtain. Her eyes darted to the plate before her, and she jolted as his strong hand went over hers feeling a spark of something odd.

"My dove. You'rewith...child..." He said softly his facecontorted into a pained one. pp0A
