Chapter 2: That Laughter

Tiffany and Taeyeon chatted along the way back home. They miss each other, a lot. Tiffany looked out of the window, she passed by a building. 'CHOI EMPIRE' She sighed and look down, not wanting to see that building again.

She thought she could let go of him and her heart. She never knew that it would be this difficult! But she has another man. That poor guy only managed to win only 1/4 of her heart but determined to win the other 3/4! His name is none other Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul.

She met him in America and realised that they clicked well and stays in Korea some times even though he's a Thai. He's a singer too. They both met each other at a café near town almost two years since Tiffany left Korea.

It was 4 November, the man of her heart's birthday. She sent drafts and drafts of messages wanting to send it to him. But she didn't have the courage to. She did sent once, on 4 November a year after she left him. But there's no reply.

That only made her heart broken. After months of hanging out with Nichkhun, she found that he suits her taste and everything. But nothing beyond that. Nothing beyond that.

Nichkhun propose her to be his girlfriend at that very same day on their 5th friendship anniversary. He amazingly romantic as he booked the whole café also asking the staff to leave early as well. He make a coffee with a ring in it.

Friendship ring of course. Tiffany couldn't help but to accept him. She did told her the man that hogging her heart but Nichkhun still determine to date her trying his very best to win over her heart. But... It's their 2nd year of dating and the speed of Nichkhun in her heart didn't increase at all.

This time back, she's determined to not hurt him any further and finally wanted to break up with him. After long thinking, they reached home. Their home. The home where Seung Hyun and her date and hanged out in the past.

She stepped into the house as her parents greeted her. They left America earlier for work as for Tiffany, she needed to complete her study for the term. She's back Seoul is also to further her studies in the best university in Seoul.

After her greetings, she left Taeyeon and her parents in the living room to chat after not seeing each other for almost 7 years.

TIFFANY'S POV

I explored the house. Everything didn't change. Still back in place. I went to my favorite corner. The corner wall where me and Seung Hyun was take our heights. We do that yearly except that it stopped when it reached 16 year old the age when I left seoul alone to study aboard. Tears ran down my cheeks I heard a laughter.
