Chapter 20: You Think

JI YONG'S POV

I think I lost my mind, I was harsh in my words, even Taeyeon was shock but she still understands me. I know they both love each other, I'm an expert in that. It hurts to see them apart just because of misunderstanding. Tiffany really loves him, look at how she went put barefooted and exhaustion from the surgery just to chase him.

Suddenly, Tiffany came back to the room.

"He left with Bom. It's okay, his child. I'll wait for him. " Tiffany smiled disappointingly.

We both nodded and I express my apology to her. She accepted and thanked me too. Okay, I was shock. Taeyeon and I left the hospital since it's late at night already. In the car ride, we both sighed, when will this ever end?

NARRATIVE

Tiffany went to wash up with the help of the nurse because of her wounds. She smiled as a form of gratefulness. She got onto the bed and checked her phone, no call or messages from him. She checked the other messages.

To: Tiffany

Baby girl, your dad and I are going for a holiday for 2 weeks. Stay at Seung Hyun's house for the time being. Are you okay? I heard that you injuried yourself. Need us to fly back from America? Get well soon baby.

From: Mum

She replied.

To: Mum

No need, I'm okay now! Have a safe trip mummy and daddy! See you soon! :)

From: Tiffany

She really hope her parents didn't know the real reason. From the message her mum sent her, she assume that her mum thought she sprained her ankle, totally far from the surgery. Or else, her parents would surely be worked out and fly back to Korea immediately. Her parents are always concerned about her, so unwillingly to let her out of their sight. Until, she wanted to study in America, that's when they finally let her be. Even though her parents always look out for her, she's never a spoilt brat. Basically, every man and parents' best daughter and wife.

Choi Seung Hyun, you lucky man.

I see how you are good enough to play this game because, I will win. For sure.

She was not afraid, she even knew who texted her. She offed her phone and went to bed.

Life for both were the same, Seung Hyun felt guilty with all he had done to Tiffany. So he only visited her at night. Well, his father is the boss of the hospital thus, he can check everything and come in at anytime. For this secret, only Ji Yong, Taeyeon and Tiffany knows. Bom doesn't know that the hospital was under CHOI EMPIRE. Or probably, forgotten. Tsk.

He thinks that Tiffany really hates him. Thus, he only comes in at night and stay awake beside her in the dark, until the first sun rays shined into their room. Then he goes to school to study, making it extremely tiring for him. He sometimes even goes to school just to sleep, what do you expect from a guy who spent the nights accompany his "future wife".

Sometimes, he would hum some music, caress her face really softly when she's dreaming about creepy nightmares, constantly whisper about his days over the past tears. But never in his wildest dreams, he didn't know that Tiffany was awake some times, specially when he talks about his past days. Tears flowed down from her cheeks. She wanted to comfort him, hug him and apologise to him. But she just doesn't have the courage to. After all the big mess they are in now. Bom in the way.

From times, relatives, future parent in law and bestfriends from visit her in the day. After days finally past, Tiffany is absolutely fine and ready to discharge. She waited for the nurse to register her name for discharge until a frantic voice obstruct the peaceful silence.

"Where's patient called Hwang Mi Young Tiffany? Where is she?"

Tiffany heard her name and looked up. Muscular back, tall legs, tanned skin. She called out, " Ta-Ta-Seung Hyun" she recognised the frantic person. That's none other than Choi Seung Hyun. Seung Hyun turned around and held her hands.

"Where did you go? I'm so worried when I didn't see you in the room!" Seung Hyun said with his worried eyes looking into hers.

"Um... I though you would not come." Tiffany looked at the hands held together and blushed. Seung Hyun immediately released his hands and scratch the back of his nape.

"I promised your parents, let's go. Go home, together." Seung Hyun grabbed her bags, thanked the nurse after registered her name to the discharge and went to the exit.

Aw. They then went home together holding hands. Where did all the fight from the previous days go? Strange couple.

When they reached home, Tiffany went to her room to take the necessary clothings and secretive girls stuff. Trying her best to hide them before Seung Hyun noticed. Seung Hyun noticed and smirked, leaning onto the door. He chuckled and said, "Mi Young, we are not married yet, you don't need to move everything. Including the bed and that." Oh ho. Seung Hyun noticed the "that". Tiffany looked at him, 'Mi Young? I miss the way he called me. Mi Young, it sounded so special.' she thought. She heard a snap. Okay, back to reality.

"Yah, I'm not that desperate okay. Just excited using/spoiling furnitures." Tiffany threw her mischievous eyesmile. Seung Hyun's eyes darken.

"Really?"

"You think?"

Tiffany smirked and finally done with her luggage. Seung Hyun helped her as they head next door.
