This is before Asher was born. This timeline is when Taeui was 5 months pregnant with Asher.

Jeong Taeui was peeling an apple as he sat at the rocking chair and read a book he deliberately borrowed from Kyle to read. Ilay was sitting beside Taeui's legs as he massaged the aching knee of Taeui since the injury of Taeui always was more on rainy days although with years under Ilay's care it decreased but it still ached. The moment was peaceful and silent with quite affection lingering in air. This was how Ilay's love was for Taeui he never did anything like normally people would do which is declare love through sweet words or overly grand gestures instead he quietly stood beside Taeui giving him safety and reassurance. Taeui too stood beside Ilay Riegrow. Just this moment the gentle reminder of how Ilay loved Taeui was proved through his actions sometimes made Taeui think that this man has gained some humanity in him.

Ilay spoke in a calm tone as he asked as if he was talking something casual yet his voice in Taeui's opinion was warm and gentle too much it felt surreal.

"Is the pain less or more Taeui?"

Taeui blinked as he registered Ilay's words it seemed he was too lost in thought that he didn't focused on pain much but now that Ilay mentioned as he gently massaged the aching knee. Taeui just smiled as he continued to peel the apple with a knife as he looked at Ilay  and spoke in a low tone as he chuckled slightly shaking his head a little.

"Ah, It's not much but still there is lingering effects."

Ilay just look at Taeui and at that moment Taeui felt as if he was a precious treasure in Ilay's eyes. Taeui wondered "Am I dreaming or is this man really looking at me with such a gentle and caring lovely gaze?" Taeui as he wondered this he felt suddenly flustered and shy. His cheeks had the flush of redness that reached till the tips of his ear and his upper nape. The red blush looked very cute and beautiful in the brown tan skin. As Ilay noticed Taeui's shy face he had a slight smirk on his lips and a predatory glint in eyes with slight amusement.

When Taeui met Ilay's gaze he realised maybe He would be eaten by Ilay again he clicked his tongue and as he was offguardeded he nicked his finger with the knife.

"Ow..."

Taeui winced in pain as a small slight cut he had on his right forefiner and Ilay on noticing this narrowed his eyes gone was the predatory, teasing or amusing glint instead it was replaced by slight annoyance and worry.

"You are always careless Taeui, Where is your mind Jeong Taeui. You are carrying another life in your body. Don't you dare to harm your body. You are mine, Jeong Taeui."

Ilay clicked his tongue in slight annoyance as he saw the injured finger of Taeui. Taeui sighed at this in resignation, annoyance and slightly fondness.

"Ilay it's a small cut it's not like I am dying."

Ilay's eyes narrowed further as Taeui spoke this gone was the peaceful and calm atmosphere replaced with a slight tense one.

"Even a small cut matters Jeong Taeui."

Ilay's tone was one of annoyance and slightly dissatisfaction.

Taeui sighed in annoyance.

"Why are you getting so-"

Before Taeui could complete the sentence Ilay put Taeui's finger in his lips and licked the blood oozing out of it and then sucked the finger while maintaining eye contact with Taeui. Taeui felt like always his blood rushed up to his face. He was extremely annoyed and flustered now.

After that Ilay took out the fingers from his mouth with deliberate care he kissed the finger softly before he walked towards the nightstand on Taeui's room and took out from the drawer a cotton, an disinfectant and a small band aid. He then sat down again beside Taeui and then he cleaned the injured finger of Taeui and tenderly he wrapped the band aid in Taeui's finger as if he was worshipping the mere injured finger. Taeui's eyes widened this whole time he was flabbergasted and shocked beyond point...he couldn't fathom how can Ilay be so warm and gentle the mere thought was unthinkable to him.

Taeui's heart skipped a beat that's when he thought and realised "Ah...I have fall more deeper than I already was I thought I couldn't fall any deeper for this man." This thought made him flustered.

Ilay after tending Taeui's finger he then placed his head in Taeui's lap as his arms encircled Taeui's waist. That afternoon was again spend in bliss and  comfort as The raindrops outside kept on falling gently from the sky as if providing them intimacy of quiet affection.
