Ilay, never celebrated his birthday. In the past, he was always the one who would avoid his own birthday not because he hated the day just because he found it unnecessary to celebrate. Ilay always thought that just wasting time in a unnecessary party was idiotic. Although, this year was different even today which was his birthday he didn't come home he left just a week before his birthday for work.

But, Jeong Taeui on hearing from Rita and Kyle that Ilay never celebrated his birthday he felt really sad inside. Ilay would always take Taeui on trips to any place Taeui wanted on Taeui's birthday and so out of gratitude Taeui wanted to repay Ilay. Though he doesn't knows when, Ilay will be back he is sure that man would come back atleast by tonight as Ilay, left saying that it was a short work.

So, here it was Taeui was preparing for Ilay's birthday cake. Of course, not alone Rita was helping him. Taeui didn't knew what cake would Ilay like but according to Rita Ilay's favourite cake was vanilla simply because he ate that rarely. Ilay was someone who wasn't a fan of sweets or deserts as he just didn't like sweets much but if someone asks what Jeong Taeui likes the answer would be chocolate cake Taeui has sweet tooth since he was a kid even now he enjoys chocolates if he gets one to eat. So, Taeui was making a sponge vanilla cake with help from Rita he made sure to not make it too sweet for Ilay's likings about gifts he just didn't knew Ilay had everything well the only thing Taeui can gift Ilay is himself as a gift but Taeui found that thought very weird so he just decided the cake will be Ilay's gift.

After hours of hearing Rita's nagging like instructions and making a perfect cake batter here was Taeui tired but he did put the cake to the oven to bake until then what else could Taeui do for Ilay's birthday the cake was done almost, decoration's were not necessary Taeui was already tired enough not to do those besides Ilay wasn't someone who would care about decorations, well Taeui can't call any guests he doubts Ilay would care about people present in his birthday besides the only people to whom Ilay can talk were the mobile unit of TnR which for now only Ilay has contact with the members Taeui had no idea how to contact them. Taeui sighed he looked out in the garden where Peter was brooming the fallen leaves from the trees Taeui wanted to help Peter so he went to Peter and started to broom the leaves along with him. After, awhile Taeui went to kitchen to check on the cake he opened the open the vanilla sponge cake was spongey and soft it looked fully baked a heavenly sweet gentle smell came out of it. Taeui took the cake out and then started to put on the sweet vanilla cream on its side and top that he made earlier with Rita although the cream did more work of a decoration than it's actual purpose as it was less sweet because Ilay won't eat something very sweet and after the cake was decently looking nice Taeui put it on the fridge until then Taeui decided that along with cake what else would work after thinking alot Taeui got no other ideas so he sighed it was almost evening and no signs of Ilay he didn't even know if Ilay would really come today or not but nonetheless, Taeui prepared a cake for Ilay.

After the dinner Taeui took the cake out of the fridge and put some strawberries on top just for decoration now the cake was ready but Taeui put it back on fridge thinking to take it out when Ilay comes back. Taeui, felt a satisfaction and a tinge of excitement that he went to the fridge in the kitchen and took out some beer cans and started to drink while, he was waiting for Ilay in the living room.

It was only after midnight on almost quater to two am Taeui, who felt asleep on the living room when a man who just came inside from the entrance saw Taeui and was suprised the man looked at Taeui and patted Taeui's cheek with hands.

Jeong Taeui who was sleeping woke up opening his eyes sleepily though due to sleepiness he could not see the man clearly and spoke in a sleepy tone.

"Who are you?and what are you doing here?"
