Ice Cream & Confessions

Emma sat at an outdoor table and nibbled on a Rocky Road ice cream cone while she waited for Regina. Why of all people did I want to call Regina? I just met the chick. Emma thought.I should have called August or even Graham.
As she thought that. She saw Regina pull up.
"Hey Emma, what was it that you needed to talk about?"
"Umm... I saw something today... I can't explain it and... I just wanted to talk to someone..."
Regina gave a small smile and sat across from Emma.
"So, what happened?"
"After my aunt picked me up, we drove home and when we got inside we heard a crash come from the kitchen and... it was my mom... well my adoptive mom. Something had flung her across the room and-" Before she could finish, Regina reached across the table and grabbed Emma's hands.
"Tell me more. What happened?"
The feeling of Regin's hands holding hers sent a tingle throughout her entire body. She wanted to pull Regina across the table and kiss her.
How could someone be so beautiful? She thought.
"R-Regina... I-I..."
Then it was like Regina had read her mind. She pulled Emma up from her seat and onto the one closest to her.
"Finish your story. What happened?"
"My parents. They told me they were witches. The Charmed Ones... I didn't know what to do so I called the first person that came to my mind... You..."
Regina blushed and smiled.
"But... why me? Why was I the first one that came to you?"
Emma grabbed Regina's face in her hands and pulled her in for a kiss.
"Because I think I'm in love with you Regina."
Regina smiled against the kiss.
"I think I'm in love with you too, Emma"
