*Regina's P.O.V*
I looked down at my phone. It was a text from Emma. She needed to talk to me. I assumed it had something to do with her family. I raced out to my car and quickly drove to the park.

When I got there I didn't see her.
"Emma?" I whispered loudly. Leaves fell on and around me. What the- I looked up to find Emma high up in a tree.
"What are you doing?" I asked stifling a laugh.
"What does it look like? I'm sitting in a tree."
"Will you get down here?" I asked. She rolled her eyes and jumped down. She lost her balance and fell on top of me.
"Well hello to you too." I said laughing.
"I am so sor-" she started. I quickly quieted her with a soft kiss.
"You know you could've just told me to shut up."
"But that would've been rude. Now, if you don't mind getting off of me? We could get to talking."
"No.I kind of like looking at you from this angle." I rolled my eyes and gave her a light shove.
"What did you want to talk about?" I asked. She didn't say a word. She took a deep breath and pointed at a nearby tree. A ray of light shot from her fingers. The tree sparked and smoked as of it had been struck by lighting.
I swallowed hard.
"That is what I wanted to talk about. They dragged me into a life that... I never wanted to be apart of." I put my hand on her shoulder. I had no idea how to comfort her.
"All my life, I wanted a family. Now I finally have one and... they love me... but, I don't know if I can stay with them... Not after all that's happened." My heart broke as I looked at her and saw sadness and confusion in her eyes.
"I hurt Piper, Regina... I don't know what to do... I can't go back... I'm scared..."
I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. It must've triggered something because as I pulled back, tears began streaming down her face.
"I know I can't say anything to make this better but... I want you to know that I'm here for you... No matter what happens... I will always be here for you... I think you should go home and at least try and talk to your parents... maybe they could explain... I love you so so much Emma... I hope you know that."
She nodded and wiped away her tears.
"I will. I'll go and try and make sense of things... but..." she trailed off.
"But what?" I asked.
"I want you to be there with me. I need you. I'm afraid I'll say something stupid and screw it all up..." I put two fingers under her chin, forcing her to look at me.
"Of course I'll help you... I promised you I'd be here for you and I intend to keep that promise..." I kissed her softly.
"Now." She began. "Let's go talk to my parents."

We pulled up in front of the Halliwell manor and saw Leo standing outside. Emma gave my hand a tight squeeze as she saw the worry on his face.
"I don't know of I can do this." She whispered. I pulled her and up to my lips and kissed it gently. "You can and you will."
"Don't let go of my hand..." she said.
"Wouldn't dream of it. Now... let's go!"
We walked up to Leo and he pulled her in for a tight hug. Oblivious to our locked hands.
"C'mon inside. Your mother is worried sick."
"What else is new?" Emma scoffed. I gave her arm a slight smack before he turned to me.
"Who are you?" He asked
"Oh! Um... Dad... This is Regina... My girlfriend..." My eyes widened a little at the sound of her calling me her girlfriend. I loved it. He, on the other hand, stood emotionless. He cleared his throat and stuck his hand out to me.
"It's nice to meet you, Regina. I'm Leo, Emma's father."
"Nice to meet you to Mr.Halliwell."
"Oh no, please. Call me Leo." He smiled and I nodded.
"Why don't you two come inside. It's freezing."
He led us inside. As we stepped inside, her aunt Phoebe quickly tackled her in a big hug.
"Oh my gosh. We missed you so so so much!"
Her eyes were wide with surprise.
"I was only gone like an hour!" She exclaimed.
"I know, but we thought that the source may have gotten a hold of you." Phoebe said still holding on to her niece for dear life.
"Aunt Phoebe. Aunt Phoebe! I can't breath!"
She quickly let go of her. Emma almost collapsed in my arms from the lack of oxygen.
"Oh! I'm sorry!"
"How's Pi- I mean Mom?"
Then there was the sound of footsteps down the stairs.
"I'm fine..." She got down stairs and pulled Emma into an awkward hug. This sure is a very touchy feely family. I thought.
"I'm sorry..." I heard Emma whisper.
"Don't worry sweetie... I know it was a lot to take in. I'm sorry we tossed it all at you like that."
Emma took a deep breath and squeezed my hand.
"Why don't we go sit and talk in the observatory?" Emma asked.
Piper nodded and sat herself down in the wicker chair across from the love seat where Emma and I sat.
"What is it that you want to know?" Piper asked.
Emma sighed.
"I want to know... why you kept this from me all these years..."
Piper swallowed hard. Noticeably trying to put the right wprds together.
"We didn't tell you sooner because we knew how you'd react. Pretty much exactly like you did yesterday."
"How do I control them?"
"Your powers? That's simple. You just need to channel your powers through your emotions."
"Easier said than done." Emma mumbled. I finally decided to speak up.
"Hey, don't worry... I'll help you control it... don't worry."
"How exactly are you gonna do that?" Piper asked.
"I'm the one she comes to when she needs a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen to her. Why shouldn't I be the one to help her through this?"
"Because you don't understand how hard it may be to control. I do. I've been through this. So excuse me of I believe I am more fit to help Emma than you are!"
"If you are so much more capable of helping her, why did you keep her in the dark about her powers. Were you afraid that she would become more powerful and less able to be under the almighty Charmed One's control?!"
"That's enough!" Emma screamed as lights flickered and the t.v turned on and off.
"Regina, may I speak with you alone?" Emma said through gritted teeth. She pulled me into the kitchen.
"What the hell?!" She whispered loudly.
"I'm sorry... I just... I don't know what came over me... I know she understands all of this much better than I do, but... I just love you so much and I want to help I anyway I can and still keep that promise I made you." She sighed and kissed my forehead.
"Is that what this was about? Your promise?"
I gave her a slight nod.
"Regina... I have no doubt that you could help me just as much or maybe even better than Piper can... but I'll at least give her a shot. If she can't help me than I will let you... tel her you told her so!" I rolled my eyes and smiled.
We walked back into the observatory.
"Sit." Piper commanded.
Emma immediately did as she asked. She stared down at the floor.
"Look at me." Piper said.
She refused.
"Emma, Please. Look at me..."
Emma reluctantly lifted her eyes. "I know having powers can be... terrifying."
"I'm sorry I hurt you..." Emma whispered.
"Don't worry about it."
"Is there anyway I cam get rid of them?" Emma asked
"I know it's probably hard to believe, but something amazing has happened to you. You've been given a gift. A magical gift. And as strange as it sounds, you're not alone. I know exactly what you're going through. I know what it's like to possess a power that you can't control. And you desperately want to be normal ,but it's just not an option. And because there aren't any options you sometimes get so angry that you wanna-" She cut herself off and pointed at a very expensive looking vase. Within seconds, the vase exploded into a million pieces. I jumped a little.
"H-how did you do that?" I asked.
"Pretty much the same way she does. I've just learned how to focus my emotions and control it."
"I wish I could control mine..." Emma whispered. "Then I wouldn't have to worry about hurting you again. Or anyone else."
"Is that why you ran out like that? You were afraid you had hurt me?"
"I was scared. I sent you flying across the room. I didn't mean to... I was just... so overwhelmed. I'm sorry."
"You have nothing to apologize for. I know we overwhelmed you. I'm the one who should be apologizing. We should have told you before."
There was a short moment of silence.
"So... what do I do?"
"We could bind your powers."
"What's that?"
"It's where we take your powers away... until you're ready for them."
A flicker of interest filled Emma's eyes then quickly disappeared.
"No... I'd rather learn to use them than give up a part of myself."
"It's your decision... I'll support whatever you decide."
"I appreciate that... but, I think you teaching me will benefit me more than giving them up."
"Alright. We'll start with the basics tomorrow. Do you need a ride home, Regina?" She asked me.
I shook my head.
"I insist." She said. I had no choice but to stand up and follow her to her green Jeep.
I got into the passenger side and sat in silence until she decided to speak up.
"So." She began. "You and Emma?"
We came up to an intersection.
"Turn left." I said. She did.
"Are you intentionally avoiding my question?"
"No, Mrs.Halliwell. I am not. I just... I'm just not sure where Emma and I stand. I mean... I only met her yesterday and... I've learned more about her in the last 24hrs than I have anyone else in a lifetime."
"Do you love her?" She asked. My eyes widened.
"I don't think it's appropriate to talk about such things... especially with you." I did love her. I just didn't know how to say it to her mom.
"But... Yes. Yes I do love her."
"Take care of her, okay?"
"Mrs. Halliwell... I would die for her... of course I'll take care of her."
She smiled.
"Glad to hear that... because in this family... there will be times when you have to put that statement to the test. I hope you're ready for that."
I tur and looked out the window.
"I am."
"Why don't you come over after school tomorrow. You could sit in on my session with Emma."
I smiled.
"I would love that. I don't have to wear a pointy hat though, do I?"
She laughed.
"No. We hate those insulting pictures the halloween companies put out. Does it look like I have warts or green skin?"
I could tell I hit a nerve. I decided to poke at it some more.
"Well I did notice a little bump forming at the tip of your nose. You might want to get that looked at." I smirked as she glared at me.
"Careful there smarty pants. One twitch of my nose and I could turn you into a toad." I giggled and rolled my eyes.
"You can't actually do that... Can you?"
She laughed.
"With my nose... No. But give me a pen and a piece of paper and I probably could."
I fake gulped. She rolled her eyes as she pulled up to my house.
"This it?" She asked. I nodded.
"Tell Emma I'll text her later."
"I sure will. It was nice to formally meet you Regina."
"You as well Mrs. Halliwell."
"Oh please, call me Piper." I nodded.
"Good night... Piper."
"Goodnight." She said as she drove off down the road. I was thankful I had the house to myself for the next two weeks. That ment I could have Emma come over anytime and I wouldn't have to worry about waking my mom. I changed into a loose fitting t-shirt and a pair of boy shorts. I threw myself down on the bed and almost instantly fell asleep.
