"uhm... where did you get these?"
y/n questioned when she opened the door of her dorm room to reveal suguru and two... girls? who are about seven years old or six...
"you make us sound like grocery shopping," one of the girls said bluntly at y/n.
suguru laughed softly and brought them inside her room. they all sat on the floor as y/n closed the door and joined them too.
"well, I found them at this one village that I killed everyone there," suguru confessed.
y/n froze. did she hear him right?
"you did what?" y/n questioned. she needed the confirmation.
"I killed the villagers to save these two girls," suguru stated, his expression was serious. his hands patted both of the girls's head.
"and you didn't tell me? I could've helped! the higher-ups might look for you once they found out that you did it!"
y/n started to panic. she paced around the room and this was unlike her.
"what can you do? if you were there, I mean," suguru's voice was surprisingly gentle.
y/n stopped in her tracks, looking down to the three of them — suguru and the two little girls.
"I could've... erased... your doings..." y/n muttered. "I could still enhance my cursed techniques and create another technique..." she said and her eyes suddenly light up at the suggestion in her head.
"c'mon. let's head to that village real quick before the higher-ups suspect about it," y/n suggested and patted suguru's shoulder.
suguru raised an eyebrow at her. "you're willing to do that for me?"
"duh."
y/n faced the two girls now and gave them a smile. "what are your names?"
"mimiko."
"nanako."
y/n's gaze softened at their names. "the two of you stay here, alright? if anyone knocked, just don't answer."
both girls nodded in response, watching suguru and y/n getting ready to leave y/n's dorm room to head towards the village that he had wiped out.
"you really should've told me earlier," y/n said again as she climbed onto suguru's cursed spirit.
"I didn't want you to be involved," suguru said softly, patting his cursed spirit to carry them towards the village.
y/n rolled her eyes at his response, "but here I am. trying to erase your doings."
"I didn't kill everyone. just the ones that mistreated mimiko and nanako."
