Sam Houston gripped the reins of his horse looking at the pink sunset. Texas. It was his opportunity. Offering a sweet deal; 640 acres land of your own choosing. It had a nice ring to it. Like the smooth burn of whiskey. If it doesn't burn going down, how can you be sure it is bad for you? Davy Crockett was a potential congressmen of Tennessee. Sam was peddling something he couldn't resist. The great land of Texas. Jim Bowie a pioneer, smuggler, and land prospector. He got into so many bar fights, the wounds he suffered amazed people. William B. Travis, besides leaving his wife he was a man of good character. A leader in the natural. So, when Santa Anna's canons fired he wasn't afraid to step up to the plate. Little did these men know 179 years in the future Tony Stark AKA Iron Man was hard at work on his latest toy. A time traveling machine. His bro Bruce Banner AKA The Hulk couldn't just watch as his pal took all the credit. He did help set up the equation.STARK TOWER 2015
"Yes!" Stark exclaims clapping loudly.
It was finished. After a week of no sleep and a sufficient amount of red bull to kill an elephant he had finished. The machine that would change the past and future. Time travel. Bruce woke up from his Hulk nap, slightly on edge from the sudden awakening.
"What did I miss?" He asked.
"We did it. Mostly me but that is besides the point. Now how about we take blast to the past green man."
Bruce was excited about the new invention, but he had some doubts. Now that it was real anything could happen.
"Are you sure we should be messing with this? I mean what about the whole space time continuum."
"Bruce, think about it we could stop world wars, disasters, and who knows what; or we can sit here and discuss our feelings. Maybe even go to Disneyland afterwards."
Bruce groans. Tony always does this. Mocks him until the last straw breaks the camel's theoretical back.
"Fine, but only for a minute. We pop in then out."
"I knew you give in. Jarvis, set a timer for 24 hours." Tony quickly presses many button. The sleek machine makes some buzzes then it opens.
"Tony, we can't stay that long!" Bruce says as he is dragged into the tube like contraption, along with suited up Tony.
"Sir, the machine is a go."
"Send us to 1836 San Antonio, March 2."
"Wait, a minute 1836. That's the Battle of the Alamo-" Bruce is cut off by a bright light.
SAN ANTONIO MARCH 5,1836
Inside the time machine it was dark. In midst of chaos Tony had grabbed Bruce's shoulder to steady himself.
"Rockier landing than anticipated. I give it a 6/10 Thor hair flips." Tony says dusting off his spotless Iron Man suit.
"Really?" Bruce ask. Canon fire interrupts their small dispute.
"I believe we have an Alamo to save." Tony says. He presses the blue glowing button that unlocked the door. It opened to reveal the were outside the walls.
"I guess, we'll just have to take to the skies." Tony fires up his suit Banner quickly catching his boot before it is out of reach.
"Stark! This is a bad idea, and by bad I mean terrible!!" He yells as Tony maneuvers the suit around cannon balls fired at the Alamo.
"Relax, they can't even hit me if they tried."
As Stark says this a cannon ball fly past his face landing smack dab in the middle of the Alamo. They wait for an explosion.
