This is what I turned in for a history assignment, in which we had to write a historical fiction story. We could only do 3 pages, double spaced, so sorry for the shortness! It is the story of a 14 year old girl who's father decides to join the Alamo during the Texas War for independence.

This is an older piece of writing I did for school. We were learning about the Texas Revolution and got the assessment to write a letter as if we were a soldier just before the Alamo took place.
