Taylor pov - When we got to our new house in Compton I ran inside while my parents went to talk to our new neighbors. I sat on the ground since there was no furniture and text Jazz. I waited about 10 minutes for her to reply but she didn't. So I decided to get the boxes out of the truck and unpack. After I got all of the boxes into the room that is going to be the living room I check my phone. I didn't get any texts. As I was putting my phone down my parents finally walked in. "Taylor you unpacked all of the boxes wow!" My mom and dad said to me. "Yeah you were talking so I thought why not." I told them. "Well Taylor good job. Do you want to see your room? I think you're going to like it." My mom said to me. I shook my head and followed them. We walked to this big room, well big to me since in New York I lived in a apartment with a very small room. "Look up, we had that put in just for you." I heard my mom say. I look up and see a chandelier. "Oh my gosh thanks guys!" I said happily since I always wanted one in my room. "Well since you weren't to happy about the move we thought you be a little happier about the chandelier in the room. And there is also and little seating area by your window like the one in New York." My dad told me and pointed to it. I started to smile and hugged my parents. After they showed me the house I brought my boxes to my room. I wasn't tired since I slept most of the car ride, so I unpacked everything. I realized that this could be a good thing. I didn't have a very small room anymore. I had this good size room and a big bed. At my old house I only had a twin bed since my room wasn't that big. In Compton I had a queen bed. I loved how my parents tried their best to make me happy about being here. I know they weren't happy that we couldn't live in downtown L.A where they thought I could make a bunch of friends and not worry about crimes but I was happy here. Compton looked like a place where I can call my home. I know nothing will replace New York but I know I was going to be happy. I finish setting up my room. I loved my light blue room with the chandelier, the Paris France bedding on my bed, the TV, and the couch they had put in my room. After I spent a while admiring my room I went to bed.
