you touched the cold doorknob and twisted it open. the cold air brushed across your face. you took a good look at the big city you lived in. you never realized how beautiful the city was. you took a step onto the stairs and took a deep breath. you stood for a good minute to admire the breath taking scenery. you then began to walk. it was a cold day out, the usual. you walked passed all these unfamiliar faces with all different types of expressions. it was a busy city, everyone was always rushing to get somewhere. it started to spinkle so you decided to go back to your house.
you took off your shoes without unlacing them bc who has time for that. you took off your hoodie and plopped your body down on the couch. you grabbed the remote and statted going to these channels and settled on the 'food channel'. the woman cooking was this middle aged woman with a lot of makeup on. you left the t.v. on and walked to the kitchen and sat on the island counter. you twisted and turned on it to try to think of what to cook for lunch. your parents wouldnt be home until later so you just decided to make some spaghetti.
you grabbed the whole wheat pasta and boiled up some water and threw some salt in you cooked the pasta. you grabbed your spaghetti sauce, meatballs, and all the extra spices and cooked it all together. you finished cooking your lunch/dinner and just ate a portion of it.
after you were done you texted your friend and asked her what she was doing today.
y: hey
f:what's up?
y: nothing really. hey what are you doing today?
f: um idk
y: do you want to come over bc i have nothing to do right now?
f: be over in like five minutes!
y: ok see ya in a littleyou started to clean a little but the house was always clean bc your mom didnt like it dirty so she would clean on her free time. you fixed up the couches and the pillows and just sat patiently waiting for the doorbell to ring. the doorbell went off and you walked towards it and looked through the peep hole and, surprisingly, it wasnt her. it was a teen about your age. you thought he might've looked familiar but you didnt know. he rang the doorbell again and you opened the door. he was looking down at the floor and looked up.
'oh um, you're not my aunt?' he said almost as a question. 'no' you chuckled. 'what's your aunts name? maybe i know her.' you asked. 'c/a/n' he replied. 'oh! she is right next door actually.' you pointed your finger, signaling your neighbors door. 'thanks! oh um whats your name?' he asked with a side smile. 'its y/-'
you got cut off by y/f/n shouting your name. 'hey!' she said. 'um i have to go!' you said at the guy. 'ok, nice chat.' he said and walked next door to his aunts.y/f/n walked in and started walking but then quickly stopped. 'y/n! who was that?' she asked with a little smirk. 'i think he's visiting his aunt, my neighbor, and got the wrong address.' you said. 'oh, well he was kinda cute!' she said. 'well you can hop in his train if you want but im just not ready for a boyfriend, remember y/ex bf/n?' you said. 'but not all guys are like that y/n, i mean come on you cant not say he wasnt the littlest bit of attractive!' she stated. 'whatever, so what do you want today?' you ignored her recent reply. 'ugh' she groaned. 'idk! watch some netflix?' she said. 'i'll get the snacks.' you reply. you guys did this a lot, just the two of you so you were used to it.
11:00 pm
you woke up, you probably fell asleep during the fourth movie or so. y/f/n was onthe couch sleeping next to you. you felt uncomfortable bc you couldnt ever sleep in jeans so you went upstairs and put on some salt and pepper joggers on and walked back downstairs. you sat on the couch, layed your head down and dozed back off to sleep.
