Trade For A Life

"PAPA!!"I said excited as I jumped off of Freya and hugged him. Slowly I felt anger towards him. "PAPA!!" I said angrier.
"Woah woah woah calm down Kiyomi" I glared at him. "Where the hell have you been the past 2 damn years!" I yelled at him.
"I was on far away missions, now tell me where mama is" his face got serious but I only looked down. I felt papa tense up. "So those damn monsters got her huh" he didn't show any emotion. Out of no where Papa falls to the ground. Something had hit his head, hard. "The titans got who!"
"MAMA!!" I ran towards her but she just flicked my forehead. "Ouch" I rubbed my forehead and saw mama crying.
"What? Why are you- " mama pulled me and gave me a tight hug and papa soon came and joined our hug. "Ehemmm" I heard someone clear their throat. Papa placed one fist one his heart and one on his back. "Sir!" I looked at who he was talking to. "You must be Kiyomi, your father has talked about you a lot but he didn't tell us you were quite skilled" a guy with blonde hair and some blue eyes and unusual eyebrows said to me. "Excuse me, I am Erwin Smith" Erwin smith... Oh shit, wasn't he the commander of the survey corps.
"I know this might be sudden but would you like to join the survey corps, by any chance, I wouldn't want your skills to be wasted"
Mama stood in front of me and so did papa. "Sorry Sir but I won't have my daughter join just to die." Erwin looked at both of them "It isn't your choice" he look down to me "its yours"
I looked at my parents faces they probably knew what I was going to say but begged me not to. I moved in front of them. "How about a trade?" Erwin just started at me. "Me for my father"
"Kiyomi what do you think -"
"Papa I'm sorry but I've actually been planning this for when you returned so you could stay by mamas side, I've thought back and forth about this and this is my choice"
Mama started crying as papa held her, I turned away from them and faced Erwin.
"Your father is one of my most skilled people, don't you think we would be stronger if you both were together?" He questioned me. "I've thought about that but then Mama would worry and be alone"
"Alright but if by some chance you are killed I will be reinstating your father" I nodded my head.
"I don't think I would die any time soon though" I replied.
"Its settled then-"
"Wait no!" Mama pleaded.
"Hugh Ayers your assistance will no longer be needed for the survey corps" Mama dropped to her knees. "Kiyomi follow me" Erwin said as he got onto his horse. "Papa Mama I'm sorry, papa please take care of mama, dont worry I'll be fine" i took off one of my food pouches off Freya and gave it to my parents. When me and Mika were traveling we came across a few houses that had food so we took them with us. Mika has 2 pouches while I had 3.
I looked at my parents crying, but they wouldn't look at me. I decided to just go to Freya and was about to get on but from behind my parents hugged me. "Stay safe" boh of them kissed me goodbye, but I wouldn't be home for forever.
I was now riding Freya with the other scout memebers with Erwin and some other guy who looked pretty displeased with my presence. He had the same black hair as me which you didnt see everyday.
"Hey Kiyomi right? I'm Bella and that's Arran" a girl with light brown hair pointed to herself then and guy with dark brown hair.
"Nice to meet both of you" I smiled at them. "You're so adorable Kiyomi are you really 12" I nodded my head "I'm almost 13" other members slowed down and started asking me questions.
"So you already know how to use the gear?"
"I heard you saved a ton of people back in Shiganshina"
"Is it true you killed hundreds of titans already" I couldnt process all of the questions they were asking but from the sound of it they overexaggerated most of it. I sighed "listen its true I saved people and killed titans but you're over exaggerating it. Haven't you guys saved people and killed titans." The crowd around me got quiet until I heard some yelling. I saw people panicking and fighting over food that's when I spotted 3 familiar faces, the kids I've met before. One of them was getting beat up by a soldier. I pulled my reins to go over to them. "What are you doing" i asked the soldier. "Little kids keep showing up thinking they're so damn special" the guy said angered. "Are you hungry?" I asked, he stopped in his tracks as i pulled out a loaf of bread. "Here i know that its not much but i get kinda angry too when im hungry" i laughed, slowly the man walked over to me, reaching his hand out to take the loaf of bread. "T-thank you" he said and turned to the other kids. "Im sorry i guess i was a tad over board" he left and split the bread with his friend.
I quickly got off my horse which probably took half a minute since I couldn't reach the ground that easily, I wasnt that short but I was smaller than the others in the group. "You're that girl from before" the boy with blonde hair said. I nodded my head. "What are your names" I asked. "I'm Armin that's Mikasa and he's Eren" I memerized their names. "I'm Kiyomi, I can tell you guys are a tough bunch" I looked at Eren who had a few bruises. "You sure took a few hard kicks huh" I laughed a bit. "You shouldn't be laughing at someone who is hurt" Mikasa said eyeing me. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend you"
Here, take this as an apology" I gave them a pounch that contained bread loaves. "Listen you're going to have to toughen up because from now on it won't be the same anymore."
"Kiyomi hurry up or you're going to get left behind" I looked at my new acquaintances and smiled "until we meet again" I got back onto my horse and rode off.
Eren p.o.v :
She rode off to a group of people who had the green cloaks on. "Is she with the survey corps!?" I asked as we all just watch her leave. "That's not possible she looked around our age" Armin said. "It is possible of shes with them and had the 3D maneuver gear" Mikasa noted. I ball my fists up "just wait, soon it'll be my turn"
We walked back over to Armin's dad and gave him some of the food we got from Kiyomi, an unusual name. "Where did you get this" he said as he opened the bag. "A girl gave it to us" Armin said.
"Eren if you sign up for training so will I" Mikasa said to me. "Are you crazy you don't have to follow me everywhere"
"I made a promise to your mom and I'm going to keep it."
"I'll be going too" Armin said sitting down next to us. My eyes widened "Armin not you too !"
