For the first time, I walked out of the dimly-lit cave, and came to the world of fantasy. Dragons and angels were flying around in the air, elves and fairies tended to wounded creatures, centaurs, satyrs and kapres roamed the land, and fairies, trolls and elves examined the flowers in the flower beds. My eyes absorbed the sunlight, and the sunlight glistened off my pale skin.

"Most of these creatures are from Alfhiem, as you can see," Eowin gestured a hand to the creatures roaming free, "Most of the Uden creatures are hunting, you'll get to meet them later though," she smiled.

I just sighed in astonishment and gazed around, picking out the scents of the different flowers. Eowin led me to a building that looked like a greenhouse, letting my feet trudge in the grass and dirt, feeling their textures under my bare feet. The greenhouse held a classroom full of little creatures. Each student had a desk of their own, and excitedly sat on the edge of their seats, waiting for dismissal.

"The students are currently learning about airborne creatures, like dragons," The students rushed out of the room, and screamed in excitement as their face met the sun's rays. Eowin brushed her fingertips along the chalkboard, making creases of blurred lines in the drawing, "Soon, when your wings grow, if you're Uden, you get to choose a dragon of your own, and ride it into battle." She smiled, "I used to be an elf from Uden, but because of my age and healing talents, I got moved to Alfhiem."

I gazed at the drawing, then at the chalk dust that was left on Eowin's fingertips.

"How long will it take before my wings grow?" I asked.

"Hm," thought Eowin, "Auburn's took 2 weeks. Since you're not an original bred angel, yours might take less than a week."

I nodded in appreciation, and glanced at the door. The sky was a bright blue, with a hint of orange from the afternoon sky. I was so caught up in watching the creatures fly that I hadn't noticed Eowin had moved to the other side of the room and was rummaging through a box of clothes. A moment later, Eowin pulled out a black faded dress, with tears in the side of the waist, and the bottom of the dress was shredded.

"This dress could use a little fix-up, but this was my Uden dress. I'd like you to have it. I'm sure you have nothing else than those jeans and cotton shirt to wear. Maybe it's time you fit into the theme," she smiled again.

I took the dress, and held the delicate fabric in my hands.

"Thank you," I whispered, and I clung the dress to my chest.

Lunch was interesting. A plant-bug stew was bowled by a leaf, with berries on the side. Not only did it look unappetizing, it was delicious. I wolfed down two helpings, and went outside to breathe in the cool air.

"Sorry for the quick meal," Eowin had approached from behind, and rested a hand on the door frame, "I would've cooked some meat, but we're all out, so the Uden creatures went hunting this morning, they should be back soon."

"Hope so," I mumbled, "I'd love to meet them," I glanced back and have Eowin a smile.

Eowin smiled back, and took a seat on the porch beside me,

"In an hour or so, how about we go to Uden? I'm sure they'd be back by then."

I looked at her in happiness, and have her a quick hug,

"That would be awesome!" I smiled, "Are the creatures any different from the ones in Alfhiem?"

"Yeah, the creatures of Uden are mostly all hunters. Although, they have some similar creatures to the ones here." Eowin looked to me, "Well, we should get going, it'll take a while to get there on foot." Eowin stood up, and brushed down her dress.

I stood up as well, and looked back into the house. I turned to look back to Eowin, and gave her a light smile, and I stepped down off the porch.
