EVAN POV:

"Well this is splendid." I sighed sarcastically to myself as I looked at my reflection in the mirror.

I was currently down in the utility tunnels, specifically the first aid station below rockstar row. And was using the mirror inside said station to check my injuries.

In all honesty, I looked like shit. But not in a "You need a nap." Kind of way. But in more of a "What happened to you?" Kind of way. I guess that's what happens when you take a metal fist to the eye.

I don't know what caused Spring to start glitching. She just looked at me before her eyes started flickering. Next thing I know her cooling system shut down causing her to start overheating, her hands started twitching sporadically as her arms started shaking, and the data terminal that was still plugged into her started flashing warnings of a system crash.

Golden rushed over and started screaming her name, trying to snap her out of what I am starting to assume was a PTSD attack. And as she did that I tried using the data terminal to initiate an emergency reboot.

For better or worse though my idea was for naught. Golden managed to get her to snap out of it. But not before Spring lashed out, striking me in the face.

"Ugh. Henry's gonna kill me." I groaned as I assessed the damage.

The lens of my glasses had been shattered by her punch, causing the broken pieces of the lens to pierce the skin around my eye. The bracer around the eye socket had been near shattered, the broken pieces being feelable under the skin. And the eye itself had been forced further back into the socket, all vision in that eye now nothing but static.

"And my spare is down in my locker." I sighed as I looked at the busted set of glasses in my hand. Before shoving the now unless piece of eyewear into my pocket. "Won't be able to go get them for a bit."

Luckily I don't think Golden or Mimi saw the damage. They were too focused on calming Spring down to realise I had actually been injured. At least I hope that is the case.

Spring however, did see me. I saw her look at me just before I was able to excuse myself from the room. And I saw how her eyes widened when she spotted the blood.

That however, is a problem for later. For now, I got other problems to deal with.

"This is going to fucking hurt." I muttered to myself as I started pulling tools out of my toolbelt. "Guess I'm at least lucky that I gotta replace Marionette's eye tonight. Already got the tools on hand."

I began by carefully removing the broken shards of my glasses lens. Which wasn't a pleasant experience to put it bluntly. It stung like a bitch, every piece sending fresh pain into the injury. And with every piece removed, fresh blood began to flow from the wounds.

"Ya know Henry." I muttered to myself as I removed another piece. Frowning at the blackened blood that began to drip down my face. "If you'd bothered to actually finish my body, I wouldn't have the issue of Spring seeing that my blood is the wrong colour. But nooooo. You have to leave me as a prototype so you can fix my non-existent problems."

Heaving a sigh I removed the last piece of lens form around my eye, using a disinfectant wipe I grabbed from the first aid supplies to clean the wounds once it was out. Now was time for the fun part.

"Shiiiiiit." I hissed as I used one hand to hold open the eye. While in the other I had a pair of pliers designed to grip round objects, like Animatronic eyes. "Ok. Here we go."

I clenched my jaw in pain as I grabbed my eye with the pliers, trying my best not to flinch or twitch as I did so. I then rotated the eye to the left until I felt a click, and the static that filled that eye went dark. Before slowly pulling the eye out of the socket.
