I've come to make an- No wait, wrong script.
Ahem. Hi everyone. got a bit of an issue on my hands that I thought you should be aware of. Basically as some of you know, I don't know what to do with this book anymore. I've written myself into a corner that I don't know how to get out of, and am no longer happy with how this story has been going. Heck I've restarted what was going to be the next chapter like 7 times trying to make it work, but I just can't find a way to write it in a way I'm happy with.
So, I've been contemplating restarting. Close this book and start from the beginning, picking up where TFS left off and this time making it feel right. But the thing holding me back from that, is this book. Me leaving this book behind would basically mean abandoning well over a years worth of work. And part of me just can't bring myself to do that.
But there's also you guys. I don't want to abandon this and make ya'll feel like reading this has been a waste of time. Or that you've been enjoying this and I'm just throwing it aside because I'm not happy with it.
So I think it's fair that I ask for all of ya's opinion on the matter. I've made a poll below on if I should push through and try continue this book? Or just set it aside and start fresh?
Now I do ask that depending on the answer you give, you give a reason why or some feedback on what I could do better. If a No to restarting, please let me know why, and maybe some ideas on how I could continue from here. If a Yes to restarting, Please let me know what you think I could have done better. Or what you would like to see done or return.
Feedback is important to me as it helps me see where I can improve. And in this case, I feel I need it more than I used to. I really want to get out of this funk I'm in where I just don't know what to do with my writing, And I could use your help to do it.
