She was too young! "The voice reverberated through the halls, resulting in murmurs of assent throughout the hall.

" An unfair death." another echoed.

" Aye. But the dead should remain dead." This, too, resulted in murmurs, though fewer.

" Well I think she should live!" This sparked conversation throughout the room.

"SILENCE ! Order in the council!" Rebirth sat at the head of the table, banging his mallet down several times. " Those in favour of the girl living raise your right hand and say aye. "

A chorus of "aye"s rang out, outnumbering by far those who were silent.

Without waiting for Rebirth's answer, she said, "We can put her into Hearthinfuse! The place is what the humans would call a fantasy world! Since no one there knows her, there wouldn't be a time shift problem!!"

Rebirth brooded in his chair, considering this idea. "Any objections?" No one spoke up. ''Then it shall be so." He banged his mallet twice on the table, signifying the end of the meeting. As the unearthly beings strolled out, he looked appraisingly at Forest, seeing her in a new light. Perhaps adding her to the court was not such a bad idea after all...
