Prologue
"Let go of me Rick. Let go of me right now." She struggled as she tried to push him away.
His large body had trapped her between the walls in the corner, with hands placed on either side of her face. He was looking at her with the same intensity as he used to, 5 years back. She felt as if the heat and passion between them would melt her.
"Look at me Kate," he whispered, so slowly that it made a shiver run down her spine.
"No." She refused stubbornly, knowing that all this was just a trick for him.
"Look. At. Me." He spoke again.
Lifting her chocolate brown eyes to his piercing grey ones, her heart literally stopped when she felt him leaning towards her lips. Eyes closing on their own, she waited for his soft lips to touch hers, until she heard a sneering voice,
"You are not worth it."
That was when she slapped him, hard, and all hell broke loose.
