Chapter 13

It had been a few days now. Rose was going slightly crazy. Owen and Zach were still unconscious. She was worried about Zach. He kept dying,but she always managed to bring him back. It was tiring. She wanted it all to be over. She wanted them all to be rescued or for all of them to just die already. After fighting of dinosaurs almost every night Rose was getting extremely weak. She had a lot of cuts and a huge bite on her arm. Maybe if she was alone it would have been easier. Rose sat watching the ocean. She heard a boat,but she just thought it was her mind playing tricks. A few minutes later she saw a boat in the distance. She limped into the water and began to scream at them.
"Help! Help us! Please! Come back!"she yelled. She watched the boat drive away.
"No!"she sat in the water. She kicked the water in frustration. She sat down on the sand again and did nothing. After a few hours it got dark. She made a fire and sat watching the flames. Rose closed her eyes,but quickly opened them when she heard moving. She turned to see Owen waking up. She limped over to him and helped him sit up against a tree. She hugged him.
"How long have we been here?"his voice was weak.
"Almost 8 days,"she said.
"I'm sorry that must have been awful for you,"he put his arm around her as they sat together. Her eyes filled with tears as she remembered the horrifying nights she spent.
"Can you help me pull Zach over here," she whispered. The two slowly pulled Zach over to their spot. Owen sat cuddled with his sister as she stroked Zach's hair.
"There was a boat,and they ignored me,"she cried. Owen held her as she cried. Rose kept her eyes open as Owen lay next to her almost asleep.
"Owen,don't sleep you won't wake up,"she shook him. It was too late she was alone again. She couldn't sleep now else she wouldn't be able to wake up. She sat down preparing for the next attack of the dinosaurs. She would only last a few more days before she would pass out.
