Leo X Aquarius...
POWER COUPLE!!!
So lets see what happens...

"Leo is such a hottie! I really think he likes me!"

"You? Ew, no. Gem, have you seen the way he looks at me?!"

"OMG PISCES HE WINKED AT US!!!"

Rolling my eyes, I, Aquarius, Aqua, let myself fall back from the crowd of lovesick girls.

I kicked around a pebble and stumbled along, not oblivious to the heavy load of textbooks in my bag.

"Hey, Aqua, you kay?" I saw Aries in my peripheral.

I gritted my teeth. Did she LOOK fine? Damn that idiot Aries and her dumb ass friendly questions.

Sighing, I muttered, "Nah, I'm good."

You couldn't stay mad at Aries for long. She was too... Nice.

I pulled out a scrap of paper from my pocket. A picture. On it, was a beautiful lady in a long, cream coloured dress skipping beside a chubby little girl with long, choppy hair.

Adjoining hands. Adjoining hearts.

I felt the tears pricking my eyes, and my heart falling through a bottomless pit.

No no no Aquarius. Stop that. No weakness. You are as strong as the tidal waves of the Pacific, as wise as the sailors of the Atlantic. You do not cry. Not for your mother, not for Scorpio, not for...

"Shut the fuck up", I retorted to myself. And a tear fell. Then another. I hurriedly tried to wipe them away.

"Hey, uh, you dropped this."

Whipping around in surprise, I spotted Leo, in all his glory, bending down to pick up my beloved picture I must've dropped in my haste to while wipe my eyes.

"Erm, thanks..." I muttered, fully conscious of my puffy eyes.

Leo gave a charming smile that sent my heart into a Harlem Shake.

"Is this your mother on here? She looks just like you. Pretty... No, beautiful. Like that awesome picture you made in Art last year... The one with the sunset hovering over the ocean? Yeah... You completely showed me up."

I giggled, despite the slight hiccups in my throat.

"Th-that was three years ago, Leo! How do you even remember that?!"

He gave me a sly grin.

"That was the day you kissed me. Under the orange tree."

"You idiot! I kept telling you; that was a peach tree!"

Again, I giggled. Slightly frightened by this new connection with Leo, I blushed.

Leo stared at me.

"Does it matter now? The kiss, your tender words, the damn peach tree... You still chose Scorpio."

The spite of his words made me double over in agony, sadness, and anger... Scorpio had been my lover. I loved him, poured my soul into his hands.

And then he dropped it on the ground without a second thought.

It took me a while to notice Leo's muscled, warm arms wrapped around my body, and I sobbed into his chest, stuttering random obscenities. Leo stroked my hair, whispering in my ear;

"I love you, sweetheart. I love you. Don't cry... I wasn't mad. Fuck Scorpio. Just fuck that piece of shit. It'll be okay now, I'm here."

I chuckled weakly and pressed my lips beside his ear.

"You know what's funny? I think I still loved you all these years... But Scorpio's butt face was so big I couldn't see past him."

Leo smirked and put his soft lips beside mine and replied,

"You know what else is funny? I think I was planning on asking you to Prom. But I was sort of doubting you'd oblige and---"

I, not so gently, pressed my lips on to his, and he grunted in surprise.

Our lips danced together, fighting and loving at the same time. It screamed YES louder than a megaphone.

"Damn Aquarius, got some rusty snogging skills... Perhaps you ought to practice at my house. I'll be your study buddy."

He wiggled his eyebrows comically, and I laughed, completely out of breath, my head spinning, thoughts pirouetting out of my brain. Leo was so sweet not to mention it, but I probably looked like a star gazed idiot.

As I walked home that noght, hand in hand with Leo, I pretended not to notice Scorpio's anger and disbelief as he watched me with hungry eyes. His half eaten sandwich fell from his hand.

No, actually, I didn't ignore him.

I turned around, fire blazing in my eyes, and walked very slowly towards him, my ex lover. My enemy.

Closer still.

Then, I lowered my lips, level to his cheek like I was gonna give him a smooch. At least, that's what he hoped.

Haha, no.

Quietly and smugly, I whispered for Scorpio's ears only:

"Fuck you."

And walked away.

Oh my gosh, this is my first one shot and I'm so worried that it didn't come out well!!!
