"Umm, Reiji-kun do you have a band aid?"

I heard Kurosawa-san said.

I turned to look at her, and it clearly shocked me that her finger was bleeding.

She was staring at the blood dripping from the wound that I presume she cut herself accidentally.

But what shocked me more is that...

How did I not smell her blood?

She looked at me for a minute and looked back at her finger then back at me again.

"Oh that's right, my vampire friends sweetie that my blood doesn't have a scent."

"I'm afraid so. Please wait I'll find a bandage."

I said and tried to find one, unfortunately we ran out. The irony.

"Can't find any?"

Kurosawa-san was seated now on a chair and her finger is still bleeding profusely.

She then held her finger in front of me and I looked at her stoically.

"Can you lick it?"

She asked, it made me furrowed my eyebrows.

"Excuse me?"

She just sighed at my question.

"Your a vampire right? Vampire's saliva can help heal scars faster."

She stated and that made it clear.

"How did you know that?"

I'm really curious how a human like her knows much about us.

"Like I said, previous housemates are non-human, basically I lived with vampires duhh."

She answered sassily. I kept my mouth shut, but I didn't believe her that with past experience with creatures like me, gave her information.

Though she's interesting.

Unlike other mortals she's pretty smart from what I see, I think I'll somewhat enjoy her stay here.

"Soooo, you won't mind licking it, right?"

Her voice cut me off from my train of thoughts.

Taking her hand carefully in mine, I sniffed it.

There really is no scent.

She was just staring at what I was doing with a straight face.

"Doesn't it hurt?"
