After Kotoha learned the truth she fled like in the original, Douma was going to let her go until....he felt Muzan's presence as he hurried to where Kotoha is he saw Muzan grabbing her by the hair as she continued to hold baby Inosuke in her arms.
Doumas trying to play it off so Muzan will spare Kotoha said "Muzan-sama that's my prey~" he pouted playfully. Muzan knowing very well tossed Kotoha to Douma and gave an order "eat her or make her to a demon. I know what your plan is Douma don't play coy with me"
Douma was shook to his core as the thought of eating Kotoha and changing her to a demon is not even an option he'd ever pick
"If you can't make a decision I'll make it for you" said by Muzan as he walked closer as Douma instinctively tried to hide her as Kotoba seeing this truly regretted of choosing her choice, she should've just had stayed but no one could blame her afterall abuse and torment was still a scar that would make you not trust or believe in sweet words
Douma was in a dilemma as he mumbled that only Kotoha could here "I don't want to eat her but if I let her become a demon she won't enter heaven...no..no...no she doesn't deserve that...what should I do..." Doumas continue to comtemplate as Muzan watch with amusement in his eyes, the demon who was always irritating is making a very amusing expression that he likes to see very much

Douma hearing that as his body that was now not moving because of Muzan's cells in his body is stopping him. He looks at Kotoha who's mouthing to him "please Douma-sama" as she makes a sorrowful smile
Douma who forced himself to speak the words he always says but don't want to say in this moment "I'll eat her"
He said as Muzan smash his head as Douma regenerate his head on his body "Forgive me Kotoha" Douma spoke with sorrow as sudden tears that he never shed came down from his eyes like rain. The emotionless man he was before becoming a demon seems to be reversed, for him he became a human the moment he become a demon
