A thud could be heard as Muzan entered his room inside the infinity castle after his discussion with Kagaya of their alliance. He sat on his chair as he sighed.
"Just a little more, just a little more and I can finally die" said by this man, anyone would think he just want to sleep or go rest like a vacation but on his own his a man that craves death.
Muzan who's eyes that used to be calm and warm is very tired with eyes that look like a dead corpse eyes as he let his real form that has white hair, and pale skin.
He looked at his face in the mirror as he sees his hair that is white as snow. He had cut his hair back then and it never grows back.
Muzan then went to the mirror as he dug his nails into it making his palm bleed as he breaks it.
"Please let this be the last time, please" he said as he cried looking at his bleeding hands feeling the pain as he slowed his regeneration wanting to feel pain, to remind himself his alive, to remind himself he must keep going even if it's just a little longer.
Until he can just disappear he'll continue to do this over and over yet his tired and doesn't want to continue this endless loop.
It's the Hell he had made, but it's a hell he calls home. Why? Because the ones he had loved and cared for in every time he returned to the past is always here. He knows them. He loves them, even though he could have just stopped this endless cycle that he had made just to rewrite the story.
Nakime who had even mute that room so she cannot here Muzan knowing that he may want privacy, after all she knew this man is shouldering many things. She only knew briefly but she knows enough that Muzan doesn't want anyone to see him like this or many will also be in despair because he is the leader.

In the past when she was a human, she was sold off to marry a ruthless man. Her family had thrown her in a wolf's den. She was not treated like a person, she was beat up all the time and much worse. She was only their to make an heir but everytime she pushes away from that man she's locked in a room. She's glad that was it for the most scariest thing is to bore that man's child.
She had begged death over and over to whisk her away, until Muzan came. She was scared of men still is but her heart felt like he had known this man for so long, she was saved from the darkness.
