Sunlight shone into the room. It was an early fall morning and today was the day. The Bifrost would finally be finished and Thor could once again see Jane Foster. It had been so long since the bridge was destroyed. Loki had been found a while after in another world where he was captured by Chitarians. Thor brought him back home to Asgard, though he returned reluctantly.
Thor practically jumped out of bed when it was time to get ready for the day he had waited so long for. Once he was finished he hurried down the hallway, still putting on his fiery red cape. Despite being centuries old, the brothers still showed some of their teenager nature. He reached a large door and knocked on it loudly. "Brother you must begin preparing! You are supposed to be joining me to visit Midgard and we can't be late!" Thor yelled through the door so his little brother could hear him. One thing he learned with Loki was if you keep everything seeming positive and sunshiny it was harder for Loki to make the worst of a situation or complain.
Behind that wall of a door Loki groaned and dragged his feet to the edge of the bed. Why did he agree to this again? Oh yes, Odin made him. Thor was watching over the mischief maker so he didn't have any out bursts like the last time he was left unsupervised. He destroyed a small town on Earth and half of Jötunheim. As he got dressed and brushed his shiny black hair he thought about how long the day ahead would be. His thoughts were broken when Thor called for him again from outside the door. "I am hurrying! Just wait a moment, Thor!" Loki shouted annoyed. Finally the swung open the door revealing a certain trickster giving Thor an annoyed look while he followed him down the corridor."Why am I doing this again?"
"Because I would like to have you be introduced to Jane and her two closest friends."
"Oh splendid not just one mortal I'll have to put up with, but three." Loki said sarcastically.
Thor realized something and chose to stop it now. He put out an arm to stop Loki from walking further. He turned to Loki.
"Give me your weapons. I will not have you carrying them near innocent people. Not with your short temper lately."
Loki rolled his eyes handing over everything. Then Thor waited with a knowing look. Loki reluctantly gave Thor his favorite dagger. After thanking him they continued on to Heimdall. Thor walked on smiling. He had high hopes of the BiFröst being fully functional being when they reach it. Thor pulled his brother along by putting an arm around his shoulders. Loki dragged his feet like an obnoxious little kid until Thor gave up and let his arm just drop to his side. After a while of walking, then riding horses, they arrived at the BiFröst's dome. Heimdall was waiting outside. It looked slightly different than the old one but still would work the same. Heimdall greeted them and Thor smiled wide, walking in while making sure Loki was still following. They stood right in front of the rainbow bridge as Heimdall placed his sword into the fountain like pedestal. In a vortex lights of every color surrounded Thor and Loki and in seconds they arrived in Midgard.
